I find just feathering it slightly works really well! You may want to try the light tip throttle you maybe happier with it. I found it only took a short time learning to be light with the foot on the pedal. My truck is heavy so that helps.

I’m wondering if having 4.88’s would make the tip in more pronounced?

I think I’m going to stick with the reg throttle. I’ll be towing soon and the trailer weight should help mitigate my lack of foot expertise. Maybe with a bit of practice I can get proficient at “feathering”.

So if I get my AGM battery soon, I will have to have that edited and then sent back to me?

Correct, @PapaRee or @TWTaco can edit the KDMax tunes. They can send you an AGM file or add the AGM file to your tune pack for your truck, assuming you bought the tune pack.

Myself and a few others have access to these tune packs to flash to others trucks, but if you have vF and bought a KDMax tune pack you should work directly with them.

I have 4.88's and I have to use @PapaRee LT tip in version. I tried the regular version but toooo toucheee in stop/go traffic and on snow/ice. His Lt tip in version is perfect in traffic, snow, and ice...nice and smooth.

Anyone who has the 04b33 TunePack

The Regular Octane LT (Light Tip In) file identifies as a 04a61 file, somehow the software made the file ID like this, so it will not flash to your truck. If you need a new Reg LT file, let me know (PM me). I have deleted that one and made a new one.
It will not flash to the truck, you wil get "unsucessful"

In this Pic it shows how it is ID'd wrong in VFtuner.

That’s what happened initially on my first tune that had us trembling like Frenchmen in a thunderstorm! That’s the exact tune. All has become clear!

I've been rolling the 4.0 LT tune for about 2500 miles now, and it's not even close - it's the best tune I've used. Shifting is great, power is linear, low end is better, top end is better. Now I come back to see that there's a version 6 ... might have to part with another Grant to see how it's even possible for @PapaRee to have improved it.
