I'm sure it's a little too far but if he's unable to help you out, I'll be in chicago tuning the first weekend in February

So, I'm thinking of getting this tune for my truck. I'm just wondering what peoples experience is with reliability once the tune is applied, and if it voids the warranty.

Looking to have a tune put in my 2017, i drive anywhere from 200 to 400 miles a day and am only getting 13 to 15 mpg. It is my work truck so it has a tool ox in the bed and I usually have ladders on the rack. Even without the ladders 5th and 6th gear seem useless. Who do I need to get in touch with in Kentucky about this tune and what I would need thanks.

Put in a good bit of miles this holiday break on the new tune. I currently have ~1600 miles on the Normal Throttle Pro tune. Prior to the Pro tune I had around ~8500 miles on the KDMax 6.0 SLT tune. I have no major complaints regarding the Pro tune. I did not notice any change in MPG from the 6.0 tune. With the only oddity that has jumped out at me was during my drive down a mountain at hwy speeds while using cruise control the truck was downshifting in 'S' mode. I did not try to see the same affect in Drive or with radar cruise control. It seems almost weird to say it but the improved shift points over the 6.0 make the truck drive like a normal car. (Hence Normal throttle lol)

Definitely worth the money to tune your vehicle.

Anyone else in cold temperatures on a cold start (happened at 6 degrees F) have a weird start that comes to life, but then stutters and almost stalls a few seconds later? This has happened the last few days to me.

My point being this didn't happen on any 2.0 files when it was this cold out. I'm aware that all vehicles don't like the cold.

Will yall have a pro tune update once you dyno? My truck still jumps when accelerating and jerks into gear 2nd and 3rd mostly. Tried light accelerating as well as heavy. 19 tacoma trd sport.

How many miles do you have on your truck/have you changed your spark plugs? Sounds like plugs to me, used to happen on the stock/factory tune in the cold with around 65k on my original plugs, swapped them out with the same denso iridium as OEM and went away completely. Or maybe bad gas?

Unrelated note: Heading back to CO tomorrow after an extended stay with Family in MA for the holidays, will be getting back to other peoples pm’s today.

80k miles and changed plugs at 70k. I fill up at least every week from speedway with 86 octane so doubt it’s the gas. I noticed it happens when truck transitions from negative timing to advancing the timing on my ultra gauge. Does this make sense? Normally it just drops the rpm’s, but now almost stalls out.
