Heck yea! Still drops me back once it gets up to 3500-4k, then smooth shifts at 6k-6200. I love the wide open throttle pulls. Definitely still strong up top!

Previous dyno charts that have been posted were modified vehicles with larger tires and/or gearing changes...what's the test vehicle today? Stock tires/gearing?

Today's dyno truck is Dave's truck. 33" tires and 4.88 gears.
Same truck on different tunes, should give us apple to apple results.

    Dyno runs complete!!

    KDMAX-PRO = RED

    STOCK = Blue

This was run on my truck 2016 with 4.88 gears on 295/70/17 Yokohama MT"s. Running 91 octane.
3 runs on each file used the best run from each file.
The Dyno tech pointed out that the stock tune was lean starting @about 5500rpm and the KDMAX-Pro stayed consistent.

    Gains...
    22.16 HP
    12.63 Torque

Decent gains, that stock lean out on the top end is scary. Excited to see what gains I get with the tune on top of intake and exhaust, If memory serves correct I'm sitting at around 255hp/225tq at the wheels currently. I'm on 33's with stock gearing, but I'll do runs with the 33's and stock wheels/tires.

Interesting. Would be curious to see the logs associated with this run. Didnt I see earlier in this thread somewhere that your KDMAX tune put out more horsepower than your run with KDMAX Pro today? Ill give it to you that it likely was a different truck and a different dyno, and environmental conditions may be different, but still.

Ive been watching this thread and other tuning threads for a bit now, and I know that bone-stock 3rd gens can regularly get 244 hp. Guess if 240 is all that is offered here, KDMAX Pro wont be the tune for me.

I am happy with the overall performance of our tune. Down low and up top. With great drivability!

Good luck Stephanie. I hope you find what you are looking for. Driving a Tacoma should be fun!

Bone stock vs 295/70/17 heavy MT’s and with 4.88’s… Of course you will be losing power with bigger heavier tires. These gains for an NA set up are very impressive regardless of what a bone stock tacoma makes, and the majority of Tacoma owners are indeed modded. Also, the AFR reading on the bone stock tune from factory is sketchy to put it lightly.

Keep in mind the main selling point behind this tune (and most others) is drivability, as shown in all the awesome reviews. But now we can confirm it is indeed making more hp and torque. Win/win. But best of luck in your search, “Stephanie”!

3rd gens typically dyno at around 230hp stock. The truck dyno'd is on 33's and saw a ~22hp gain from 218hp to 240hp, which would likely put a stock truck over 255hp from the stock 230

244 sounds like stock with stock 30.5” wheels and tires and a 3rd gear pull with TC not fully locked. Truck on the dyno above was 4.88 gears and ~34” tires with 4th gear 1:1 pull therefore it will be lower.

Do you have a dyno graph of a stock truck putting down 244 rwhp?

I'd be curious to see it.

Don't want to clutter this with an irrelevant chart, but mine dyno'd 229hp/219tq at the wheels stock. I'll include the stock numbers in my chart when I post my KDMax run after I get tuned this weekend
