I'm little on the heavy side of 5,350 lbs on 33s and stock gearing and I get around great with the pro+ definitely what I was looking for .

Yes all 3 throttle choices are available on PRO+.
PRO+ would be a good option for you.

Not super confidence instilling for the Pro+… Which throttle setting do you have?

The Normal I believe. I previously had the Pro Sport for a couple days, and had similar problems, but way more obvious and consistent. Pro+ feels better, but I still feel those 2 issues at lower speeds. Maybe it's only my truck specifically?

Any idea what could be causing the lumpy power delivery in a 2,000 mile truck with KD max pro? I have an OBD2 scanner that does live data. happy to do some testing to see.

Can you describe this another way besides "lumpy" in context like: "I am at a stoplight. I get up to speed with traffic (or stomp the pedal) and notice the tach jumps (or the speed is erratic)." The specific experience in context helps like speed and even gear, AT/MT, fuel pump recall done or needed? Just trying to understand the factors here. Which KDMAX tune/throttle choice?

    Data is very helpful. :)

Are you on the Pro+ with Sport throttle on a mostly stock truck weight? That sport throttle is waaay too aggressive for my setup. It's fun and all but I save it under the ECT button use and not the daily drive mode. If you are not weighted down I think this is a root of the issue. What's your truck build like besides the tires you noted?

I think it may have something to do with some of our early model 3rdGens. No matter what tune I ran going back to 2018 it was always lurching into the next gear, I still had the hard downshift to 1st although it was much better, and I also had that inconsistent power delivery under load. What greyboxer called "lumpy" I believe. So far the newest version of Pro including Pro+ seem to have eliminated all of those issues for mine.

Glad to hear someone else describe this. My (untuned) truck does the same thing on harder acceleration, I was wondering if I was imagining it.

If I got 5.29 gears installed on a truck with the Pro Sport tune, do I need to upgrade to the pro sport 5.29 tune right away? What's the biggest difference that a tune for gears (4.88 or 5.29) adds over the Pro tune for stock gears?

Pro+ Normal. Eibach 2.0 Lift. Stock size tires, will be going 275 this year. Felt great this morning no lumpy feeling/hard shift. Spoke with PapaRee, he recommended I try out all the tunes and go from there. He's been super helpful.

Yes I would describe it as follows. Start in first gear, shift into second around 2500-3000rpm. In second, press throttle harder to get up to speed (25-40% throttle) and power delivery oscillates, feeling like it has varying amounts of power despite having the same/consistent throttle input. Shift to third gear, and press throttle again to get up to highway speeds, and it does it again. One at highway speeds i only ever use 10-20% throttle and dont really notice it then.

The tachometer doesnt jump around or anything.

Remember a lot of folks regear with the stock tune and have no option. I have found from the 5.29 owners I have worked with that the lite to normal throttle is more than enough. I have no customer on 5.29s and sport as that gearing make such a difference form a stop that the high throttle can be excessive.

    ....just their experience

Oh wow, I had no idea there even was an official website. I just thought it was the list on the OP. But yeah, seems they're the only person in Washington State.
