    Thanks for the feedback. I drive hilly highways too.
    I drove to Natchez and back this weekend—200 mile round trip. 04b04 on Pro+. 3”lift, 33” tires.

    On the way there I used Cruise Control in Drive (70mph) and it shifted to 4th on the steep hills. I’m not complaining but wished it was better. 17.7mpg.
    On the way home, same route, I put on Cruise Control+ECT. It held 5th much better on the hills at 70mph. And I got 20.1mpg. I’m sure there was more factors involved- wind direction, etc.

    I’m going to try ECT+Smode6+Cruise control next trip just to compare.

    I know on my truck with normal cruise the biggest factor is headwind or crosswinds. These trucks hate it!

    Natchez is an interesting area with a lot of history to see. Nice people everywhere you go. We enjoy going there to deer hunt and get away from work/city life.

    One Mod after another
    I tried flashing Pro Plus today and was getting a "User not connected to the same vehicle. Flashing can not be completed" error message when I would try to flash. After some discussion with PaPaRee I remembered I had installed a new head unit in my truck that is connected to the OBDII port wiring. I had to go into head unit settings and disable OBDII and then it flashed like a champ. So if your head unit is connected to your OBDII port you may have to disable it to flash.
    I haven't driven Pro Plus enough to give an honest review on it but KDMAX PRO tune is a dream come true for Tacoma's. Never thought my Taco could run so smooth. I'm very confident Pro Plus will will be just as good as the KDMAX Pro tune and probably even better. IMHO you don't really see true performance until you've got 1,000 miles on a tune.

    I have felt this also before my KD Max Pro tune. It feels to me like the engine is starving for either fuel or air on acceleration. I don't believe I've noticed it since my tune a week ago, but don't recall for sure. I will repost if I have it again. I don't have enough miles on my tune yet.

    Is there a price to go from the kdmax-pro to the kdmaxx-pro+?
    Currently running the pro version and I really love it but it seems like the pro plus version will be even better for my driving style
