    I find the new Pro+XT to be smooth, smooth, smooth. And, feels slightly more torquey in the lower 4 than the Pro. I kept the custom shift points from the Pro and that works well but if I’m giving it the least amount of the beans it’ll hang on until it determines the right point to shift. All good. I’ll give the tow haul mode a good go when I pull my travel trailer in a couple weeks.

    Kings 2.5 with adjusters, icon rxt stage 2. SCS stealth blue on 35s
    Going from pro to pro-XT, Pro-XT has that added torque from a stop and hills you can really feel the power and pulls through super smooth and on 35s 5:29s the shifts are on point.
    If your thinking of upgrading do it. It will make you enjoy your truck all over again. Great work KD max keep it up.

    Long time lurker, first post in this thread. I'm kicking around buying a 2022 Tacoma TRD Off Road 2WD.

    Forgive me if this has been asked/answered in the past. Is there/has there been any issues with the warranty being voided when the truck goes in for service or has a mechanical issue that requires repair under warranty?

    I had a major engine repair performed and left the tune on the truck. After 30 days in the shop and all warranty work completed no questions asked or any indication of a concern.

    The truth is, yes, it can void your warranty. Just like an aftermarket lift or any other mods. But these tunes read back as a stock calibration and so are “undetectable” in that sense. That being said, it hasn’t happened in the years we’ve been tuning 3GTs so it’s very unlikely. Your tuner can also get you back to a stock calibration very easily if requested as well.

    For transparency, I actually have dealerships that refer people to me for a tune(I’ve also tuned the fleet manager that sold me my own 2020 OR). I wouldn’t go around blatantly telling a dealership that you have a tune, but I still bring mine in every 5k and the only thing that’s happened is requests for finding a tuner that can make their truck drive the same way lol
