    Yes. I agree.

Some people love 6th gear, some hate it. Just like some people love aggressive throttle, some hate it.
That is why we have to customize some people's tunes.

    Don't worry @Otterstuff, you won't be disappointed.

Question: does ect behave the same as stock flash or does it do something else? Haven't used it yet and wondering if it's possible to get, say sport tip mapped to it and normal when it's off?

yes, if you request it. I did that with mine. Lite in D and Normal tip in when ECT is engaged.

All of the tunes have ECT set to hold gears longer and have more aggressive throttle. It is good for towing/performance.

Robs 2016 auto sports a lift with 35s . The 4.88 regear really helped the stock gearing. Now that he's added KDMAX Pro+ on our normal throttle his Tacoma allows the truck to cruise with the right shift points and also align the torque and power curves. This translates to a killer combo for the best driving experience for his needs and this very capable build!

What throttle type would you say the ECT uses? Sport?

This is why I went back to just PRO normal. I tried PRO+ Normal but I don’t tow. I just haul stuff occasionally and only have a steel rear bumper all stock. After trying both of them I figured ECT is my PRO+ option…and yes, I love this tune!!!

    P.S.
I can’t thank enough @TacoManOne for his precious time to go back and forth. Glad we’re just minutes away from each other.

I've found the lite option but with KDMPro+XT to be the best all around for my mostly stock truck. I like those shiftpoints and the lite throttle is just sooooo smooth with 265s

I also like the light throttle. Easy to drive really smooth but has the nads if you need it!

It's really nice to have the ECT supporting Sport like also.

Janeane's 2016 is sporting massive 37s and racks to haul all the gear you could want on the trail. Running 5.29 gears she really needed the KDMAX Pro+ tune and selected the Normal throttle option for a fit. That's for coming out to Front Royals tuning event!

It really depends on how you drive your truck…if it isn’t too much of a hassle to both of you and the tuner try at least two different tunes for 2-3 tankfuls.

Can anyone comment on the gas mileage hit for the +XT compared to the Pro and Pro+?
