Really thinking this is my next mod, especially seeing all of these positive reviews.

This is my first Tacoma, first truck for that matter, and I don't have any real complaints with how it drives. I'm just wondering if it will be that much better after a tune. Sure sounds like it.

The truck shifts much more smoothly and quieter. It will make your truck much more fun to drive. You will be glad you did afterwords. And if you don't like it they can switch you back.

    I'm a first-time Truck/Tacoma owner myself.

Got my tune (OTT/7.0/Med-Mild) on Sunday May 22nd...noticed an immediate difference!

Throttle was a little too spicy but 8.0 seems to have calmed it down. (Got the update last week Sunday/5Jun)

No matter which tune you get, you'll be happy with the improvement over OEM.

I agree, all the tunes are definitely better than stock!
We have 3 different throttle choices also to give the customer the choice.

Wow, I am on the normal... VERY interesting results.

How do you like the overall feel and response of the throttle?

I need to drive it more around town to feel the shifts. I like that the Lite doesn't jerk as hard from a stop, but I think the shifts between gears are softer and slower, and I may not like that. But the XT didn't downshift to 4th going up any of the hills that I was on so it seems to have plenty of top end power. I need to give it some more time.

Dave, from Biloxi came over today with his beautiful Barcelona Red 2016 Tacoma. I updated his ECU from 04B01 to current 04B04 and then tuned him to KDMAX Pro + XT Sports Throttle.

When he came back from his test drive I said well what’d you think? Could you tell a difference (he was on the original stock tune still)? With out any smile or emotions he says I couldn’t tell any difference! My heart dropped I’m thinking how is that possible. And then he says if you’re comparing it to a Chevy Camaro ZL1 Supercharged with a wide grin!

Give me a call or text at 228-282-0138 for your KDMAX Pro XT tune!

    More “Smiles” per Miles!

Here is Chris's 2022 setup with KDMAX+XT on the normal throttle. With only 300 miles on his truck it was already time to get the lagging throttle and shifting cleaned up with this amazing tune!

Every time I meet a 3rd gen Tacoma now, I wonder if they've had their truck tuned. And if not, how much more they would enjoy their truck if they did. Seems like there should be a better way to get the word out about this tune, other than this forum and word of mouth. We don't seem to have as many tuners in the Midwest as there are on the coast. But we do have a lot of Tacomas on the roads.
