I could have regeared my truck many moons ago. I probably should have , but with as advanced as tuning has become . Phhhhh not too worried about it .

I don’t know how happy you would have been if you had gone 5.29’s. I don’t think you would be seeing those kind of mpg numbers.
You would be trading up on power but a loss on mpgs. Best I can get on my 5.29 setup is 19.4
Doing 60 mph. My normal driving I am about 16.4 on average.

Ha sounds like our mpgs are pretty close . I really wanted to stay with stock gears for their durability. I have a brother that's been a mechanic his whole life . He sat down with me and explained ring and pinion, gear ratios, splines , ect. After understanding how a gear reduction works and sacrifices that are obtained to get the gear reduction , I wanted to stay with the meaty gears of stock . Lots of meat lol . If mat could give more access to transmission on vf tuner , oh boy be lots of fun.

Honestly my trucks performance wouldn't be where it is today without the mastery of kdmax tuning and vf tuner. Now my opinion could be different if I were to ever have gearing done . The advancement of tuning has been a rollercoaster. Rollercoasters never end right???? Food for thought . We will see how the future goes . For now enjoying the hell out of kdmax pro XT. Great work fellas

You are getting 20 trip mpg. Your average tank mpg is about what I get driving fast

I learned in the past always have a secondary filter for filter cleaning day. My life can't stop cause I'm waiting for a filter to dry. I currently have the k&n Blackhawk dry filter . Cleaning instructions state that it's okay to be slightly damp for reinstallation. Have I done it no . My filters are always dry

How often do you clean your filter? You have a set mileage? Or clean when it's obvious the filter is dirty

6 months! To take it out and clean then throw it back in is just such a challenge! Don’t put on the throttle body extension it’ll give you an extra inch to get that damn filter out!
