    I was able to get ahold of the tuner, and it is getting flashed back today. I have an appointment with Toyota tomorrow, so hopefully I can report back soon.

    I went and looked at all firewall settings and made sure it was all shutdown

    So I tried installing a older downloaded version. Which worked . It wanted to update now I think its throwing me back in the loop of not wanting to work again . After update it wants to restart vf

    I'm new to this but when I loaded the lite version to do DIY tuning my Norton didn't like it at all and quarantined the executable. Had to jump through some hoops with that and the firewall to get it to load. I'm sure I'll have more fun when I upgrade to the pro version in a couple of weeks. Glad to see you got around it.

    When in doubt, uninstall and reinstall.

    AV could also be quarantining one of the executable files. I recommend setting up AV exceptions for entire relevant folders

    If you got the $399 version it's the lite that allows you to flash your own vehicle. If it's the $1k version it's the Pro version that allows you to create tunes and/or tune multiple VINs.

    Starting with the version before this latest I started getting antivirus containments and message like your seeing. The fix was to setup exception again in the Antivirus program.

    The new registration system using the cable was supposed to alleviate this need for exceptions but something has changed in the latest revision.
