Oh man! You are completely right! Thanks for pointing that out. I'll edit my post to fix that.

Also, I work in IT, so I'll just be over here in the corner, hanging my head in shame!:D

I used to do my commute at 75 or faster when I had my old CR-V. Now I do 70 because that's what's posted. While you are correct that I could go 60 if I compensate for time, it's a loooong road with only two lanes and even at 70 I am almost always the snail. Even 18-wheelers are passing me. I wish more people had your take; going 80 vs 70 vs 60 is only a few minutes saved given the distance of the commute.

Well, I'm happy to report that I'm may very well be the newest KDMax convert. I installed KDMax myself on my 2023 Taco with 2600 miles on it. I have zero experience with tuning but Dave, Kreg and Chris did a great job stepping me through the proceedure. In fact, when it came time to install the tune this morning all I did was follow the well laid out instructions that Chris sent via Email. Transmission shift points and throttle response are reason enough to do this tune IMO. The remapped torque curve is a bonus. I've only gone for a few short drives but have no regrets about KDMax.

I'm very much a do-it-yourselfer and love the idea of doing this from my garage.

Hay gents I do have a tube channel and not sure if anyone would like me to get more involved in making more videos on what I've done to my Tacoma . I'm just putting my feelers out there. Not much of a camera guy .

I'd prefer if you turned the phone landscape instead of portrait for the videos. What throttle setting are you running now? Still back to sticking with sport again?

Yeah since I added the RAS suspension systems and tightened up the rear end no more axle wrap and currently dialing in my pinion angle still . Yeah back at sport throttle

MPH really does impact MPG on these trucks. That said we just took a weekend trip all 95% highway driving of 75mph and 85mph and still got 22.3 mpg on the dash. Our truck is completely stock but I am happy with mpg like this in a truck.
