Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
I hadn't said anything previously just to be sure Mike @sonhn317 didn't get in trouble, but he loaded v10 a couple of weeks ago in my truck. I didn't get 50' and had to loop around back to his truck and said: Are you kidding me?! This is fantastic!! I could feel the difference in that short of a distance. I can't get over how much better this truck now runs.

    Thanks Kreg and Dave!

Are there any early testers who tested v10 Sport?

Some of our testers have. Even had one guy that wanted more. Some people really like a sensitive/aggressive throttle.
I ran the Sport throttle for a week to test it with no issues. I put it back on Normal because my wife drives it sometimes and she prefers Normal over Sport. Even though her Ford Explorer is more like Sport to me when I drive it, LOL.

FYI- if anyone ever wants more throttle than Sport, just PM me and I can increase it.

i did test it and found less throttle available at the top gears. My 6 to 5 downshift point shifted and required more Accelerator input to force the downshift. Pro Sport throttle is my ideal one. I'll give another try. Otherwise, the tested Sport yeild about 1 mpg gain. The throttle sensitivity in low gears was adjusted, but I never had issues with Pro sensitivity.

I've been on Pro + XT Sport for almost a full year now and have gotten completely used to it. Even then, when the wife drives, especially off-road, it's still pretty hilarious. I do like that putting it in 4 hi will tame the throttle a bit, even if I don't really require 4x4 it makes the going much smoother off-road. Curious to see how 10.0 is!

I have 2 customers running v10.0 Sport. Both are 2021 Sport. One is 4in Lifted w 35s. Other is minimal mods. Both love Sport and wouldn't change. Smooth responsive throttle at low end. And power in hwy traffic in 5th and 6th. Both feel it's more refined than v9.0.

Vlady, I’ve been on v10.0 Sport for several tanks and it is very smooth to me. My truck is on 3x2 lift and 33’s, winch bumper, winch so a little weight.

My last tank fill up yesterday netted 21.2 MPG after correction for 33’s. Really liking this tune!

I've got my throttle set on Sport with the V9.0, and I plan to keep it that way with the V10.0.
Thanks for answering that question for those of us that wanted to know.

I've been running v10 for a couple of weeks and the improvements for me with v10 over v9 are: the gas mileage appeared to get a little better, (at least the calculation that the truck does improved a bit), and the DTE after fill ups increased by 30km or so. Also it's holding the top gear(s) while keeping the speed constant going up a slight incline. No desire by the truck to downshift but it's there if needed. I expect that I'll notice an improvement in the towing performance tomorrow when I take the 3200# camper up to Winnipeg Beach. I've already had the feeling that the lower gears are a bit more 'torquey' but towing is believing so we'll have a look-see on Monday. The big test is crossing a bridge with a relatively steep approach, on HWY 4, and staying in 4th gear, 90kph, on the way up. Last year the Pro+XT tune got me up and over in 4th gear so I expect that this one will do the same.

Shifting is the same butter smooth experience as v9. I need to glance at my scangauge to know what gear it's actually in under normal acceleration. Hard to butt-know when the shift is occurring. Smooth.

Thank you, @PapaRee and the KDMax group. Happy customer here, no complaints.

One thing I forgot to mention: the sound of the exhaust. Louder.

    So I tuned a customer yesterday…

He has 15 years of tuning experience with Subis, Mitsubishi and Hondas. Some with 4 digit HP numbers. So you might say he knows his way around tuning. Also had software issues with VFTuner (sorted out) courtesy of Windows. He was totally understanding since he has encountered the same in his years of tuning. And a few bricks too.
He did his research on the various tunes and selected KDMax. Set him up with 10.0 medium throttle. Here is his response…

I was running a 1.6+ version from September of 2022, and did not attempt to do the 1.73 update, when I flashed v10 tune (thank you @PapaRee). no errors, uploaded the new tune, no issues. cant wait to test, and report back. this is great news for us 3rd gen guys, when all the rage is about the new 4th gen! thank you KDMax Tuning LLC. I just had my 22 tuned and wow. If you blindfolded me and drove the truck back to back I would say its a completely different vehicle. I would recommend everyone get this done for transmission longevity alone.

Pretty happy there’s an MPG improvement! I lost several going from OVTune to KDMax 9.5. I’d love to recover some.
