    Did you flash it yourself? If so, you can do an ECU reset and a TCM (transmission) reset. Then flash the tune.
    If you didn’t do it yourself, you can get your tuner to do this. There is no charge.

    I’ve been on the same tune (KDMax-Pro-10.0) for a few thousand miles and my shifting is still good. I haven’t heard that complaint from our tune before with 9.0 or recently with 10.0. I’d definitely get a reset done.

    No. From what vftuner says, a battery disconnect will not reset the ECU nor the transmission.

    do you guys offer a dedicated dump tube tune? i read through all the old ovtune dump tube threads and the they said without a dedicated tune for them you lose top end power.

    fyi- Before going to a custom version of 10.0, I tried both
    You might want to try the Sport throttle. I did and think it’s smoother than Normal.

    I upgraded from v9 to v10 tonight.

    Plenty of power! Trucks accelerates very good and has lots of power above 3500 RPM (it was 58 degrees out so that is a bonus!)

    I find slight improvement on gear selection / upshifting. I took it on a hilly route and it seems "smarter" at knowing when to downshift than it did previously.

    On the reverse side of that, downshifting is nicer. There were times before where the downshift was a bit abrupt. this seems more controlled.

    All in all, I'm please with the improvements and will continue to see what else I notice.

    Pretty much the exact same experience I’m noticing from upgrading. It seems like there’s less engine stuttering and stumbling when you hit the gas. Just overall smoother like it always should’ve been from the factory.

    I'm sure this has been discussed quite a few times in this 400+ page thread but I'm curious to hear if folks think KDMax causes more of a reason to run a catch can? I considered a catch can even before doing KDMax due to my experience with build up in the intake runners in my 1st gen 2.7L. :crapstorm:

    92 v. 87 octane. The winner.... 92 for sure. I have seen a noticeable improvement in torque, accelaration when traveling N. on the 57 and E on 210 running 92 v 87. Running 87 is no sled, by all means but it's noticeable. With that said... I love my latest tune and will be coming back for more. Trying to convince my GF to have her 21 4Runner tuned. I can only imagine how a stock 21 Pro 4R would run tuned with S mode...

    Just wanted to share this review from a customer that upgraded from 9.0 to 10.0 and he was already really happy with 9.0

    I appreciate you taking care of me this morning.

    I'm very happy I went with the sport tune.
    The throttle response is a little bit more than before but not that much you wouldn't like it.

    Shifting points are much better and holding speed with the gear you are in is much better.

    What I like the most is when I need more speed for passing or the on ramp it's there. But it's hard to explain. It's not that hammer down and go. It's more of you can feel the power and it progresses very strong. You get up to speed very quickly.

    I'm sure I will notice more after driving sone more.

    All in all. I love it.
