805 Tacoma Tuning wants to wish everyone a Happy Friday!!

Jeff reached out late last night requesting a KDMAX tune for his 3rd gen 2017 Tacoma with a 2” lift, some added weight, and a camper shell. He shared the common complaints associated with his vehicle which include sluggish acceleration and erratic shifting.

After some discussion Jeff decided he wanted to go full throttle and move forward with KDMAX Pro v10 tune in Sport mode. He had the KDMAX smile as he left for his test drive and upon his return. “It is so much more responsive and holds the gears like I have always expected it to”.

Not only was Jeff extremely happy to have his truck perform the way it always should have, 805 Tacoma Tuning was able to provide him the service he needed even with a very limited time frame so he could attend to the things that matter most. Family.

 

In Leap Frog fashion, here is a status update regarding 805 Tacoma Tuning's progress during our 1st official month of business ( 13 days to be exact ) here in Ventura County serving the 805 area code and the surrounding spaces as needed.

We have provided our service and the KDMAX tune platform to 5 customers and vehicles as of this time. We would like to send a special thank you to @TWTaco, @PapaRee, @ColoradoTJ, @tcBob for the support, advice and guidance getting to this point. We truly appreciate your involvement.

A honorable mention to @TWTaco. Dave has been an outstanding business mentor and friend most importantly. Thank you Dave.

Member shout outs to @powder1134 and @BuffGator who gave us the opportunity to set them up with a KDMAX tune and bring their vehicles back to life.

Matt, Chris, Jeff were individuals who expressed interest outside of TW and again allowed us the opportunity to provide our service and KDMAX for them as well.

And of course @mywife!! Not a member but a major contributor. Couldn't do this without her support.

We are excited to be a part of the KDMAX team and look forward to getting to know everyone.

Hey everyone. I had an amazing experience today. A few weeks ago one of the owners of Guild Outfitters from Hilliard Ohio got with me about wanting a tune.

We met this morning and Kreg worked his magic with a Sport+ tune that Shawn said was crazy good. He is leaving next week for an Overland Convention in Colorado.

Below are a couple pics of from our Tune and some decals that a customer made for me.

Shawn will have these KDMax decals for his truck for the show next week.

He (Guild Outfitters) also has a new
Toyota Outlet Upgrade Kit coming in the next week or so.

Dave has one now, you’re able to install it anywhere in cab and have full time 400w instead of it dropping to 100 from the bed outlet.

Today we brought Jordan's 2020 4Runner TRD Pro back to life with the KDMAX Pro v10.0 tune set to Sport!

Jordan was ALL smiles after returning from his test drive and was truly amazed at the difference in performance he experienced.

" It's incredible how much more responsive it is, it's so much fun!" - Jordan.

@dc7rr1 met with us today in Thousand Oaks all the way from La Crescenta! We always do our best to support customers at a distance.

His 2018 Tacoma was previously tuned by @TWTaco however, he requested a new tune pack designed specifically for his recently installed AGM battery. 805 Tacoma Tuning and KDMAX were able come together to support and provide exactly that.

We flashed him with the KDMAX Pro v 10.0 tune on normal along with the AGM battery support profile allowing his battery to receive the proper voltage and maintain a proper charge without additional monthly battery maintenance.

When he left we received a text that said, "I don't know what you did but it drives even better!" - Danny

Danny and his awesome truck were a pleasure to work with. We truly appreciate you allowing us to take care of your vehicle.

I can honestly say this is the best mod I have spent money on for my truck.
It makes the truck feel how it should from the factory.
Before the tune I was ready to give up on my beloved Tacoma and trade it in but thanks to the tune, I love my truck!
