@PapaRee What does this mean for any updates for your previous customers? Can we still get free updates from you? Do we contact someone else? Do we need to pay for new files?

Edit: I'm a self tuning customer that obtained my files directly from you.

 

Marc @mZiggy and Christian @SoCalTacomas YotaWerx have a list of the tunepack customers. They will be able to verify you.

 

Kreg: Is the KDMAX Pro 10 still the latest tunes or are there newer tunes since Yotawerx acquired KDMAX!? If so who do I contact for the latest Yotawerx tune pack and what will it cost?

YotaWerx BlackHawk 2.0 is the latest and greatest tune.

Some kdmax tuned here in California 2016/2017 models need to flash back to stock files to pass smog this year . How will this go now.

 

Anyone heard how it's gonna take Yotawerx to work out the bugs in their latest Blackhawk 2.0 tunes?

 

Nothing has changed for that. You can still get it flashed whenever you’re ready.

 

On 5th or 6th patch now. Still no good. Stick with KDMax you have now or go to OTT.

I decided to drive “normally” without giving it the beans as much as I have been for the most recent fill-up, and can’t believe the results at 3/4’s tank.

I'm just learning of this acquisition. I'll be seeing @Yoda_Mike soon to upgrade to 10.0. One of the biggest things for me to consider when deciding on the KDMax vs others at the time was the viability of the tune in the long run. I had read of people at the time with 40-60k miles on the tune with no issues. I have close to 40k on my KDMax tune now. I guess I have the same concern of this new BlackHawk tune in that I'd like to see some people with 30k+ miles on it.

 

I have close to 50k on the KDMax including some heavy duty towing. 5100 lbs. no issues so far. Pairs really well with the Anderson intake manifold spacer.

 

I tried Blackhawk before and I ended up getting a refund. Audible detonation. Maybe it’s gotten better.

 

This was not on Blackhawk2.0

 

Whatever was out in June 2022.

 

This new and improved version will spit and sputter like it's not getting the right amount of fuel under anything but light acceleration. I'd hold off.

 

KDMax is solid. I’m good.

 

Yes, it is. Good idea sticking with that tune. If Blackhawk, which has had 5 or 6 patches now to try to fix this issue, is doing things like it is that noticeably and easily repeatable, what else is it doing in the background that could be detrimental to the engine that you don't notice? Stick with the tried and true.

 

Quit your ranting. We get it, you are not satisfied with BH. Move along
