Idk, OTT has been a pretty big letdown for me....

Can you elaborate on what your thoughts on the down sides of the ott tune is for you? Compared to the other tune(s) you may have had?

Perhaps that should be it's own thread and let's keep on topic here. This thread is the evolution of KDMAX Pro into YotaWerx and all the greatness that is ahead. No need to clutter this thread with other for/against talk on a competitive offering.

There is a thread in the tuning section that I posted in recently about the things I am not liking about that tune. A few others chimed in with the same or similar experiences as me.

Check there and if you have more questions, quote me there so we can keep this thread on topic.

I don't want to give the wrong impression...I'm not going anywhere soon. Time will definitely allow us to see where everything shakes out.

So if I already have kdmax 9 and want to upgrade how do I go about that. I'm in Tampa and Vic is the guy who did my tune, is he still around and working with you guys ?

Every time I get a new tune (historically from my own custom all the way up to KDMAX Pro v10) I've always had a smile how much further refinements have come. While a version from 2+ years ago offered huge improvements for OEM quirks, it never ceases to amaze me that further efforts and revisions brought to my '16 3.5L AT Tacoma. I am really looking forward to to my next update, can't wait to share the outcome!

I am familiar with the remote tuning. It's a great option...if you think you could do it without bricking your ECU. I used to feel confident in messing with computers. There is so much that's evolved in the past 20 years (that I haven't kept up on) that I'm not sure I'd want to try.

The new resource map will be a great starting point for all current resources that reflect the KDMAX Pro providers that are now YotaWerx! https://kdmaxprotuning.com/locations

Should you not have a resource near you that you can coordinate with let me know. I have remote options to work with you in a number of ways to ensure you are supported! Feel free to DM me or contact me via email/phone if it helps, sometimes a call is all any of us need!

Do you have a step by step guide for self tuners?

I think Vic is no longer tuning. We have resources currently north and south of that area you might be able to sync up with on the map link above. I would also be more than happy to assist you remotely as a backup if you do not have local access.

Anyone working with our Remote Flash kits or remote tuning options gets full instructions but if you are just looking for VFTuner use and didn't purchase anything from YotaWerx (or prior KDMAX) I would recommend support right from VFTuner. What else are you looking for besides perhaps these:
    https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0885/5830/files/VF_Tuner_Installation_Guide.pdf?v=1653521921
    https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0...evice_Driver_Installer_PDF-1.pdf?v=1708911626

Just let us know what you are trying to do and we can get you on the right path!

Unfortunately both of those are extremely far away to drive for a tune.Especially if I need adjustments or want to try a different setting. I'm pretty happy with pro 9 but like most would love to see what's new

Bought from you. Self tune. Running the KD-Max 10 now. Don’t remember getting instructions.
