I didn't have you banned. Your actions did that all by themselves. I had nothing to do with that as I never reported you, although you certainly deserved it and I should have, and @ColoradoTJ can vouch for that.

Unlike a certain competitor, we don't lock anybody dissatisfied down under a NDA.

Once again, you make inappropriate and incorrect claims about us.

Oh there will be some mods all right
I am in firm agreement with @ColoradoTJ I'd suggest you change your opinion on the forums real fast. This website played a huge part in making tuning companies successful. Someone Googles "3rd gen Tacoma gear hunting" they end up here with a very good chance of landing in a tuning thread. Customers are gained from this website so I'd say that makes it a place of business not to mention there's lots of vendors on here who run businesses also making it a place of business.

Thank you. He did contact me about a month ago but I assume things weren't ready then. Trying to get an idea on price of the upgrade. I've had 3 different versions of kdmax and currently on 9

I have been corrected, and I am okay with that. I do not wish to delete all content. I absolutely agree: people will land on this thread, and others, and I am in no way discouraging that. I never have.

However, is it unreasonable to continue to require that customers follow proper procedure and reach out to us directly via the methods specifically outlined? That's still the fastest way to get the answers they're looking for.

It is our company policy to process purchases via our email system, and unfortunately I have people electing to ignore the requests to email us and only message here on the forum, including after being directed to email us.

At the end of the day, YotaWerx does not conduct or finalize transactions via this forum, and if someone elects to ignore the procedures we have outlined for conducting the transactions, should I not be allowed to refuse them service here?

I'm not stopping them from purchasing calibrations. They're simply electing to only correspond here and appear to demand that it remain that way (if only due to not following up with an email as requested).

I don't check up on this forum as often. I keep up on our emails religiously. And yet they expect that to change in their favor here, specifically, rather than reach out as requested for timely interaction.

So please, understand that while I recognize the distinction and have been corrected and that I'm not arguing that, I also will not change business policy to cater to a few people who insist on only communicating here.

Ultimately what I need to communicate is that I find it incredibly frustrating that there are individuals who feel that because I do not monitor my account here as frequently due to it not being a primary means of communication for the business, and following requests that emails be sent to the business directly to get information in a much more timely manner, I am accused of acting like Mat/OV/VF with regard to communication.

This all boils down to the following everybody: if you are okay with waiting a longer period of time for answers, go ahead and message here. If you are wanting quicker answers, including submitting orders, email YotaWerx.

While I acknowledge the corrections made by @ColoradoTJ and @LarryDangerfield in clarifying their stance on TacomaWorld being an acceptable place of business, YotaWerx does not process orders here and customers (both new and old) will have to email YotaWerx regardless in order to place and receive your calibration orders because that is how we process requests.

If this still brings up additional points of confusion, I am sorry but you can message me with questions and I will get to them when possible, or you can email directly if you feel that it is an urgently pressing matter.

    This could be an option:

Since tuners will never be vendors on any of the "Bob" sites, you could start a new thread of what is offered, cost, and how to get it. Then the thread can be locked. No more people talking out their asses or the back and forth. When you need to do changes or updates we can unlock the thread for you to make changes and re-lock the thread.

The back and forth/arguing must be exhausting.

This is appealing. I will evaluate and can message you if I get something together.

However I also do not want to get accused of locking down information for the purposes of discouraging reviews and communicating feedback, negative or otherwise, just like how I already was earlier this morning.

To be clear to everyone: I do not actively discourage professionally crafted negative review/comments/communication.

If anyone feels that I do, the primary YotaWerx thread has plenty of evidence to the contrary.

So that consideration is also something that I will keep in mind sir.

It is something to consider. 95% of the thread feedback is positive and very constructive. The 5% is the squeaky wheel for sure.

We also recognize how you are a value to this site. That is a two sided blade and in this together.

Sounds good! I just sent an email out to Marc for the latest BH 2.1 AGM. Looking forward to switching over and trying it out.

For anyone else making the shift from KDMax to YotaWerx and following this thread, please keep an open mind and be optimistic about the change to YotaWerx. I've noticed some "tuning war politics" overflowing into this thread, so that might be causing the slightest bit of confusion.

Hold the line. Everything will be OK. YotaWerx has got your back!

2.1 is the tune that should have come from Toyota Japan. Why were they so worried about MPG’s with the 3.5 and detuned it so bad? This torque tune makes it the kind of tune the Tacomas should have had from the factory. I agree with Technique that getting on the freeway on-ramp is effortless now. A whole lot more Nirvana moments. And Im referring to incline on ramps. Plenty here in the San Fernando Valley.

I want to thank Big Papa for KDMAX PRO10 as I feel that’s a solid tune. Most particularly at higher elevations with Sport+.

However, the 2.1 makes the low end work STRONG where the 3.5 needs help. Now I know these numbers are not true, but from what one feels from the torque, I have no doubt it’s damn close and the margin error is small. I cannot wait for my first recovery under Active Duty. It’s going to give these Tacos a stout pull. Those tacos in those videos where the 3.5 is famous for pulling semis out of stuck situations…well this tune is going to make those pulls a whole lot easier, and peg the fun factor that much more. 4LO pulls are going to be maximum effort.

Gas mileage can be had with fun sprinkled about. That tank even fueled traffic.

Data in Nm which translates to 247.57 foot pounds with throttle input only at 32.15% out of 96%(have to go back and double check), and RPM was 1778.

What I would pay for without a doubt would be to utilize the ECT button for the 91-94 octane tune. If that were at all possible. That would be the killer set-up to have sporting a YotaWerx sticker…just saying, and not riding high on the horse. I suggest some of ya’ll do the same, not good for business to have arguments sprinkled about and shit.:hattip:

A huge thank you to Tom over @805 Tacoma Tuning
