Sent two emails asking how they informed KDMaxx customers about the upgrade cost/window. Not a single response. The tune is only as good as the people behind it and the lack of response tells ya all you need to know. Put PapaRee in charge of the customer base, Kreg was awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This ziggy guy, ya not so much.

How can I help? Sorry you haven’t gotten the support you need. Things have been very busy and a few of the developers and main points of contact have been on a break.

if you want to you can PM me and I’ll answer what I can.

But in general as for the question “How prior KDMAX customers are informed “ it was left to the local tuners to reach out to them.

And it is in a phase approach. First phase was all prior customers from Jan 2023 to Jan 2024. That ended June 9th.

A new phase is in effect now. Please reach out to your local tuner for details. Thanks

Is the consensus amongst customers that it's worth upgrading from KDMax v10 to Blackhawk 2.1?

 

I had KDM V9.0 and BH is so much better to me. Way more fun to drive.

 

Not relevant, I have my own gear and always self-tuned. The fact that they never reached out directly to KD self-tuners is absolute BS - a massive oversight. They sent an email after the post this morning telling me it was on their FB page and InstaGram. Guess I'm supposed to monitor some random tune provider - when I'm a KD customer - under the assumption they "might" acquire KD. WTFE

 

Sorry! I understand, I also do not have Facebook nor Instagram (nor any other Social Media besides TW).
We tried to keep the TW people notified on this thread with posts about the acquisition and new developments.

Dave and I did provide a list of all the past KDMax tunepack customers and their TW usernames. It should be easy to prove that you are a past customer. Our PM with the info is also a good way to show your past purchases from us.

I believe @Technique said it best. The truck gets up to traffic speed so quick, that you find yourself letting off the gas just as quick. I concur as I found myself doing the same thing. But now I’ve found a sweet spot at 18%-20% throttle input and the Tacoma MOVES from a stop. What does that take? Torque. And yes, it gives the ponies up top too. On 91 Mobile most of the time(Chevron/76)

805 Tacoma Tuning and @stefanwilliams_ on Instagram hooked up recently and completed getting his super clean and stock 2021 Tacoma dialed in with a tune developed by the great team over at @yotawerxtuning.
