KDMax-Pro Tuning--NOW YotaWerx Tuning

I've notice mine usually shifts early at 5500 rpm or so, but sometimes it goes over 6000. I find when it shifts to 63-6500 or so, it is right into the power band in 2nd gear, where when it shifts at 5500rpm, it takes a second to get into vvti.

 

Help me out so I don't have to read a bible of a thread. I am still on KDMAX 9.0. Is it still legit? I mean I like it. Just found that KDMAX is no longer around by using the Google search and came to this thread. Anyone want to help me by paraphrasing the last 300 posts?

 

I did a self installed 9.0 right before 10.0 came out. When 10.0 came out they allowed me to upgrade to 10.0. I like 10.0 but I feel like 9.0 resolves the issues that many of us don't like with the stock tune. I'm not sure I'd pay for the upgrade although I've read of plenty of folks that paid for the upgrade and glad they did. The current tune is Yotawerx Blackhawk.

I will say that I've reached out to Dave a time or two since Yotawerx and I have received the same exceptional customer service as when they were called KDMax.

If your always looking for the next best thing then I say upgrade. If your working on being content then stay with what you have and get out of debt. I sound like my Grandpa..... (hmm, I am a Grandpa).

Does anyone have a new email for Dave ? Before I purchased the tune I was hesitant because I had upgrades planned and he assured me that the upgrades would be covered in future now I can't get a hold of him. I have the OV tuner and did the file transfer myself. Thanks
