    Without understanding the mechanics of reg vs LT, I’m really liking the reg version of the tune. I was able to compare them and reg won out. The LT was giving me a boot in the ass feeling once in a while when coming to a stop. When I flashed reg that bitaf disappeared. Also, it appears that with reg, the TC temps level off to a good normal once everything gets locked up, hwy or city.

    Just got the KDMax 6.0 done on my stock 2021. So I had to drive across Cincinnati to do this. So filled up reset the trip. And off I went. 41 miles later in D the whole time, 18.5 mpg, horrible down shifts on hills.

    Had GPatriot flash it. Took like 5 mins. In and out.

    Got the 93 Premium with regular tip in. HOLY COW! Not only does this make it respond to your right foot. It totally stopped the downshifting to 4th on hills. Hunting for the highest gear. Drives like it literally should have from the factory. The shifts were smooth. Hardly felt them. Definitely not like before. The best part was the 19.8mpg that was on the dash for the tank avg. That means it was way better than that on the way back. Thank you for all your hard work PapaRee! You ever come to Cincinnati, look me up! I owe you a beer sir!

    Kreg I’d like to get the KDMAX but will the dealership be able to see the KDMAX file and void the warranty.... I have 2 years of free service all fluids, oil changes, filters and rotation and 3 yrs bumper to bumper.

    Just tried out the KDMax 6.0. GREAT TUNE. Kruiser 4.0 had some strange downshifts going down a slight hill on my street on the way to work. KDM 6.0 fixed that. Transmission shifts much smoother than K4.0. Power is on in an instant. Gear lock works as advertised. I did notice one strange thing and it could be the driver (not knowing what is supposed to happen), but going up a hill in Normal drive (not S), turned on ECT then after about 10 seconds put my foot down and it did not want to do anything. Almost floored it and it was super slow. Turned ECT off and back to power on in an instant. So what is supposed to happen with ECT? I can see where it might do nothing since the tune is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much better than stock and renders ECT useless. So what does it do with the KDMax 6.0 tune? Thanks! If you have not gotten this tune, stop right now and get on it! You won't regret it.

    The tune is undetectable with techstream (software that Toyota uses), it will show up as "stock tune" to them.
    Should not be a problem. I have brought my truck in tuned. They said "wow your truck is quick", but nothing else.

    If you are on the Gearlock tune, you lose ECT. That is the trade off. With gearlock tunes, the ECT is modified for Gearlock (ECT+ S Mode). So if you push it while in drive, it will not downshift.

    Gorgeous weather in Seattle, but traffic sucked. Got stuck to and from in typical Seattle grind.
    6.0 did not disappoint. Was not jerky in stop'n'go at all. I think shift points for 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 suit conditions. But I would leave a few feet of space in front if you have L version.
