KDMAX7.0

Has anyone installed the new KDMAX7.0 tunes using the revised OV 1.3.1.3 vftuner? It looks a lot different (more complicated & scary) to me. I'm not a techie kinda guy and while I was able to figure out (using the orig OVtune install guide) how to flash my Taco with PaPaRae's 6.0 tunes; his new 7.0 tunes, apparently require using the revised 1.3.1.3 OVtuner. (Something to do with vfc vs. vft whatever that means.) I'd like to take advantage of PapaRae's latest tune refinements, but not @ the expense of Bricking the ECU kn my new Taco. Any suggestions?

 

There is no functuonal difference between 6.0 and 7.0. Paparae indicated he changed the name to differentiate the file formats, as you mentioned. If you're on 6.0 you're good to go.

7.0 is vfc for new software only.
