So I've been debating on swapping for the Pro grille on my 2020 OR but besides the Pro grille swap being the meme starter pack thing to do these days and the inevitable changes w/ calibration + 360 view from moving the front camera, I'm pretty content w/ the new honeycomb grille. My only gripe w/ the new grille is the ugly chrome of the Toyota logo. Does anyone know if there's something like a vinyl overlay for it? And if so I'm assuming as long as you'd put it perfectly over the chrome logo, it shouldn't mess with the sensor, right?

I haven't seen the 2020 grill in person, but I say the Pro swap has long been played out. I probably wouldn't swap to a pro grill for free, and I definitely wouldn't shell out a single shekel to have one.

Grab the overlay and be done with it. One of these days a killer grill will hit the marker and I'll be the 1st one to jump on it.

yeah these days it's the first thing everyone buys for their Tacoma so I'm not too pressed about going through with it. Just hate that I got rid of all the other chrome but that lol

2020 TRD Sport/OR grille looks better than the TRD Pro grille imo. Trying to find a reasonable price 2020 grille to switch out for my trd pro grille lol

I couldn’t wait to get rid of, IMO, an ugly grille, on a beautiful truck. I can’t be happier with the swap. I get that everybody has one, etc, but there were not a ton of options for an aftermarket grille, if your truck has TSS.

Good luck in whatever you choose, or don’t choose.

The new grills are expensive tho, Toyota only sells the TRD Sport/OR grilles with the color-matched housing, TRD pro grills sell differently where you only have to buy the grille w/o the housing :(

the pro grill wont work on the 2020 since they relocated the camera .if u do it you are going to have to recalibrate the camera .its stupid expensive around 600 bucks .quote I got from dealer .

When i got my windshield replaced my insurance offered to reimburse me for the recalibratio but ive just been too lazy to leave my vehicle for the 3 hours it takes. so if you have the $0 windshield deductible thats always an option lol

The Pro grille is still more expensive unless you get a knock off. I like and plan to keep my 2020 grille. I also refuse to pay almost $300 for the OEM garnish for the PRO grille. It was a douche move from Toyota to increase the pricing as such. Anyone trying to replace the Cheese grater now has 2 viable options in the PRO grille and the 2020 TRD grille. Cosmetically you can't go wrong with either.

I swapped to the 2020 grill, I like it better than my cheese grater grill. Matches my MGM perfectly. Too many pro grills around here.
