My truck keeps blowing the ecu-ign no 2 fuse .. nothing changed recently on the truck… i do have several things that arent stock but nothing new in the last 6 months. The things i noticed that dont work when it blows is the window switches , climate control knobs and bsm. Where do i start ? Its a 2018 and out of warranty

Any of your mods affected even if it's just switch lighting. Thinking a short on a lamp tap
Any signs of rodents in the truck, they love to chew wiring (could fall under Homeowners Ins for repair)

i did notice my meso puddle pods weren’t reacting to the switch as they should . For instance they wouldnt turn off when in the off position sometimes .. and i was in the smokies (in the woods parked on the street) when the first start up that blew the fuse occurred … i took a quick glance around the truck for chewed wires but im not sure what areas specifically need to be looked at

Start with your mods first, the wiring nearby, and any grommets they pass through.

Does it blow immediately, or intermittently?

Kinda sounds like a chaffed wire that touches and then vibes around and not touches. I would start at the battery and work my way to the cab.

FWIW, my old Lexus will blow that same fuse when occasionally adjusting the drivers side mirror. They had a bulletin for it and mine got an updated mirror but it still does it. I would maybe start looking into that area.

Sounds like you have a frayed 12v rubbing metal.

Unhook ALL aftermarket installed accessory hot connections. Replace fuse, start truck, does it blow? If so, you have more work to do, if it doesn't, check each accessory wiring run. At least you can drive truck while doing so.
