    hey tw
i have a 2004 dc, dick cepek dc-2s with toytech adjustable coil overs with all pro 3 inch leafs in the rear, and the truck has 100,000 miles on it. i have been having problems with my axles up front first the boot ripped no bit deal but now the seals are leaking and have to replace the axles again.
my question is do i take the lift off to prevent having more front end problems or sell the truck and buy a 2008 ac with 21000 miles thats up the street for 11500 otd after my trade?

I'd replace the CVs and continue on with the truck you've got, but that's just me.

So essentially what you're asking us is is a smart idea to pay $11,500 or pay a few hundred for a CV/Axel repair job?

    Dude
I ask myself the same questions almost everyday.
Get the new truck cause i have not tried that route so you try.
sounds like really super low miles. you will no doubt wanna start building it up on top of the eleven five purchase price.
    2008's are awesome trucks.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    $11,500 buys alot of axles.

Thanks for the advice. No I am not just lookin at a new truck just cause of the small repair. It's not hard at all. I am just thinking I shot my self in the foot since I am assuming it will keep causing me problems down the road with the high miles

Don't know what kind of maintenance your truck has had, but 100,000 is not a lot of miles for these trucks. You will find trucks with many more miles running great. Mine has 146,000 and going strong with just maintenance items.

If it was me, no way I would get rid of my 04, but, it is your money and you have to be happy with your decision.
