Keep the Air Dam or pull it off?

Umm.. normal freeway driving conditions. I haven’t noticed much of a loss. But everyone is different.

 

I mean what are the numbers. Minuscule is completely subjective...

 

Has anyone ever asked for their foreskin back?

 

Oh hell, I can’t remmeber. I know it wasn’t much of a difference. That being said, I have no numbers or proof to back up my claim. Just a guy on the Internet with an opinion..

I believe the difference was 1 or 2 additional MPG with it on... It was a way Toyota was able to display better numbers. The OR model doesn't have it so it can have a better approach angle. The difference really is minimal and not worth putting it to the test since Toyota already tested it lol. It's really all about looks and personal preference at this point.

 

I completely agree.

 

To me 2mpg isn't minimal. That's massive considering it's not like we get 40mpg. That's ~40+ miles per tank.

Ok, I guess it depends on what model you have... For some reason, the Limited trim is more fuel efficient that the Sport. (I'm guessing the hood scoop is to blame here). But in all reality, I consider 1 or 2 MPG minimal since your driving habits will affect your MPG more than a piece of plastic.

Is that Limited a 2X4 and the other models are 4X4. That would explain the difference in mileage.

 

I didn't get into the options. Just got a quick glance of the differences.

 

What bull bar/skid plate is that, and where did you get it? It looks great, and I haven't seen that anywhere. I've been looking into getting a bull bar

 

Read this thread this morning and pulled mine off. Took about 5 minutes and truck looks much better. Also makes climbing under truck for oil change a lot easier.

 

Pulled mine off almost immediately & haven't missed it one bit.

 

Running full set of Mobtown steal skids and Southern Style Offroad slimline winch bumper, Both products are double tough ,glad i did them both!

 

Yep, looks totally different. Even makes the grill and mini bumper look better.
