Mine didn't come with one, but I got 22.7MPG on the freeway going 70-75MPH. If the dam adds 0.5MPG, I'm glad it didn't come with one. It's essentially costing me $28 per year or 8 cents a day.

Get another one that someone is taking off and do like I did...!! I did not like the fact that there was NO airdam on the rear, so a buddy gave me his and I put it under the rear bumper.... Looks real good and I got 1.5 MPG increase as well.....

Bonus is less road spray when trailering also....!! Double Plus..:thumbsup:

You got me thinking now.... I have the OEM running boards and I bet I could heat up and straighten a couple of those front air dams and make them fit the side of my truck, under the steps.....

That might look awesome...!! Great idea, Thanx man..!

I leave mine off for off roading purposes but for a long highway trip its worth putting on for the MPG.

My 17' DCSB OR didn't come with one, I vote off. Isn't the epa estimated mpg of a 4wd v6 dcsb auto trans. the same whether its a limited or OR or whatever?

I didn't care about the few miles lost when I ripped mine off but there was a considerable difference on highway with straight line tracking. Basically a bit more twitchy and more input to keep it straight.
I so a fair bit of highway so I'm thinking of putting mine back on.
If that sort of thing doesn't bother you then I say burn it!

Thanks! I'm sure I'll experiment with it off and on. Really like your Fog lights are those the same as come on the TRD Pro's? Love those but can't bring myself to drop the $500 for them.

Got any pics of that? I hadn't even considered something like that. That's great that you're getting increased mpg!

After realizing the TRD Off Road comes without it, I’m debating whether to remove it from my truck.

Up to you, but I got to say, that Red almost makes wish I got that instead of of my BBP. Almost.
I can't let let my wife see it ever.

If you do pull it, do us a favor and do a MPG comparison if you would.

Are your tires snow tires? Yank the air dam.

    Your truck looks great.

Here's the link to the tires: https://www.yokohamatire.com/tires/geolandar-a-t-g015

They're AT's but carry the snowflake indicating they're rated for extreme snow service. So far we really like them, very quiet and ride great. We'll see how they wear.

Appreciate the kudos on the truck. My son and I have enjoyed working on it...good times!

Yes. They are TRD PRO fog lights. Keep an eye on Ebay. Bought mine for around 450. They are very bright.
