Wife and I have a 5 month old baby girl and plan on having one more little one. We have a 2007 Acura TSX Navi and an 2008 Tacoma DC sport 4x4.

We need something like an SUV with more room for car seat in back and other stuff covered in the back.

    Which one should we sell?

The car. You can still have room for the kids in the back seat, the DC is pretty big, plus you will always need a truck.

Adding both are paid off. We own a house so the truck does come in handy. An SUV would probably handle most things though.

I have 2 kids and personally I have a Subaru Outback and had a Mazda 6 Wagon before I got the Tacoma. I had a truck before the kids but for sure a station wagon or SUV is SO nice for changing diapers in a parking lot and the list goes on for carrying things. At the same time, I have a trailer for my ATV but picking things up at Home Depot on the way home from anywhere on a whim is out of the question w/o a truck. Instead you have to go get the trailer. It works but a truck is definitely more convenient for projects. My 2 cents. My vote is to sell the car and get a station wagon, have you seen the new Acura TSX wagon? Sporty, not a Subaru but it's nice.

Sell the car, then add a tonneau or cap to the truck if you need covered storage.

Keep the truck for sure and get bigger car or a mini van or something. you don't appreciate a truck bed until you don't have one.

I have a shell on the truck now. It's lifted though so it's hard for the wife to use.

So car or truck goes bye bye? I lean towards the car BUT the TSX get like 29 mpg and has lots of luxuries( men seats, lthr, navi, dual climate, per sts, etc...and bothe vehicles are at 45k miles approx.

Gas is expensive and I wonder if we should keep the car for buzzing around. Maybe I should lease a SUV??? But we dong really need 3 cars

    Come on!!! Lol

keep both and use the money you would spend on new car payments for all the extra kid expenses that will come up...

once the kids start going to school and getting into their extra-curricular activities, it will be easier without the car payments...

Let the wifey decide. It's gonna be her decision in the end anyway.

Seriously though i would keep the tsx. Plus you won't get the "Can you help me move?" calls either.

The fj was my first choice before I bought my Tacoma. It handled really well on the test drive. I didn't really like the rear seat though. My little boy didn't have much visibility at all when sitting back there.
    I 'd recommend a Rav4.
