    i lost the case, and i just got 4 bills in the mail yesterday from the hospital...

    so far, i have to make a $4,000 payment by 4/7...

    i think my total hospital bill to date is $85,000

    i contacted the case worker and told him that i still have no full time job and any money i make now is barely enough to provide for my kids, so i am due to go back in next week to re-apply...

    essentially, they made me liquidate the last of my life savings to pay off my debts in full, which was only a couple thousand to begin with, so im now officially broke...

    fortunately, my folks are helping take care of my kids now and i have some potential full time jobs lined up... only problem now is my medical care as the jobs i have lined up don't offer medical benefits...

    im starting to regret having pursued a career in photography... i should have stayed in college when i had the chance...

    but, not letting the stress get the best of me... i need to focus on getting healthy so i don't end up 6 feet under, although, looking at my meager life insurance policy, i may be worth more dead than alive at this point...

    hahaha...

    keeping fingers crossed and praying as much as i can for some positive change...

    oh Susan... don't jinx me... no cancer... just kidney failure... whew... haha....

    but yah, they told me that most get denied the first time around for SS disability benefits, so i filed the appeal.. just waiting now for my court hearing...

    someone recently mentioned to me that there is an addendum to Medicare that covers non seniors who are in renal failure/kidney disease...

    i need to do more research...
