    Do you use it with your Ham radio? Did you do any reprogramming of your ham? I have the same handheld one you have, used it out of the box and worked great but distance is still not there.

    Actually I have nothing at the moment, but these whips are strictly for lighting. I love my little ham but haven't really had the chance to use it like it should be. Amazon has another Antenna that works great on my dad's but we still don't have a licence. Basically we have been using the band, legal to use for 2 way communication.
