For one thing, parts store CV axles are junk for the most part. Compared to OEM they don't hold a candle. You have a 6" lift and I'm betting your CV angles are likely wayyy too steep and causing the CV axle to bind up and break.

Cheap parts store axles will bind up much sooner than OEM axles will which is why they are breaking so much faster, but either way with too steep of angles on the CVs even the OEM ones will blow up sooner than later.

Pics will help of your suspension setup and angles of your CVs

So that's not as bad as I was thinking, but it is still pretty steep. You can see the inner boot fins all crunched up together

Its painful to read that block of text lol. From what I gather you're doing clutch drop pulls in 4wd on dry asphalt with a 6" lift...your sending those CV axles to hell in a hand basket my man. There is too much wrong in that scenario to expect them to live very long

Again, aftermarket axles are very weak compared to OEM and will grenade much more easily, especially when they're already at a steep angle close to binding without any additional droop.

you've got an IFS 4x4 Tacoma not a Power Wagon on a solid front axle...the Taco drivetrain won't stand up to that kind of abuse esp on a 6" lift with aftermarket CVs

When great big old heavy Wheels are spinning really fast and suddenly stop, something has to give the weakest link in that equation is your CV axle be it OE or aftermarket that's what's going to break first.

Wheel Hop off Road is essentially the same thing as spinning on Road when it finds traction and eventually it will that will suddenly stops but everything else wants to keep turning no CV axles go pop every time.

Do it enough times and it'll take the diff with it.

When off road, as slow as possible; as fast as necessary.
