The adapter depends on which throttle body you upgrade to. If you find the 70mm throttle body, you'll use the 70mm adapter. If you find the larger 76mm throttle body, use the 76mm adapter.

The single vvt-i 1GR engine has a 65mm throttle body.
Dual VVTi engines found in the 2010+ FJ and 4Runner V6 have the 70mm TB.
    Dual VVTi engines found in the 2005+ 2UZ-FE 4.7L V8 and 2007+ 3UR-FE 5.7L V8 have the 76mm TB.

If you're doing the Kelford cams and your mods, I would think you'll want the 76mm throttle body+adapter with the intake tract port matched.

Looking at buying throttle body adaptor from Urd smaller pulley and 7th injector , been to three shops and unable to tune my hilux. The shop I went have just reflashed the ecu and called it a tune . Looking at a stand alone ecu for cam under grade . Shipping cost are very high at urd like 250 aus for very little weight.

Sounds like you need a better tune. Need to talk with the guys on 1GR-FE Club, on FB. They know of multiple people and shops that can tune your ecu.

Anyone have additional information on this conversion from 65mm to 76mm? Is it easy as making a new connector, buying an adapter, and adjusting the tune some? Thanks in advance!

Wire connector plugs right in. The stock air box needs to be wrestled on the new TB, I used some lube to help it out, but everything matches up no problem.
