It's a YMMV. I've been sent to ref twice in my hot boi days. On one occasion, I had a "stock" motor with replaced intake with exhaust cams as that was the cool thing. It was a mild upgrade comparable to Jim Wolf Tech cams and swapped back to stock ECU/injectors. They didn't catch anything as I still had stock smog air injection/egr and stock location cats. Still obd2 but they didn't find anything out of place. Sent me home. Second one, I just paid the stupid fees as I already swapped motors. I'm not proud of it but recently got pulled over for 105+ in the FJ but cop could have busted me for a lot more. Instead just gave me the speeding ticket for <99mph

IMO and based on my experience they aren't going to change the sound of your engine very much.

Surprisingly, the aggressive profile turbo grind camshafts that I have, do give the truck a nice subtle lope. Just not noticeable in the video. The s/c cammed engine that I have heard, did not have the same exhaust tone.

Mine had a lope when the header gasket had a big chunk blown out of it.

Nice! Maybe I’ll add it back to list of mods. Need a new rear axle before I go down more of the rabbit hole

Please don’t post after this one.
    I’ll update main.

Kelford said URD gears would work as long as mounting is the same as stock. Also, no clearancing should be required and they can do custom grinds.

Posting because this isn't how forums are supposed to work. I keep having to check back to see if there's any updates, assuming the same for why you haven't heard from anyone. I would recommend just posting in line.

    Send Modifyd! your emails people!

Okay, as i said before I don’t have experience with GBs but I think I have all your emails. I did not have back on your thoughts for shipping.

With current shipping rates it's probably more cost effective to have Kelford direct ship?

How’s the invoicing going to work? Can we have Kelford email us our invoices and then we can reach out directly to pay them?

I am ok with them shipping directly as well, that would keep things simple and then we would each individually be on the hook for shipping vs OP and then us trying to reimburse him.

Just throwing some thoughts out there, I am all ears if others have suggestions

If everyone is okay with bassackwards reply, I’ll have Kelford proceed in that manner

@TodayWasTHeDaY you can borrow the spring compressor I made for the cam install

Or should I just rent it out to other people too? Haha

No, I'm still the same scumbag.

I made more of a lateral move except I have a work truck and I'm mostly home every night.

The work truck is awesome to have for working on my formerly daily driver.
