Well I'm going to give the SCS WHEEL lottery a go next time around but I'm not holding my breath. My stock tires may be worn out by the time I get wheels which is good in a way I guess. My King shocks suspension is paid for so I'm looking next at front fender, winch and wheels. I can do the fender while playing the wheel lottery. Thanks for opinion. BTW I have the Cazzio black leather which I believe look better than stock.

If you haven’t yet, look into Freeman Toyota in Hurst. I walked right in and bought my Ray 10s a month or two ago. I didn’t have to play the lottery luckily. I even had the buyer of my F5s meet me there so it was better than the lottery.

Annnnnd you/your truck is the reason I'm back on the forum. I'm so ready to pull the trigger on a 3rd gen. Right now I'm eyeing a Barcelona Red RC Offroad used. They seem to be a fairly rare combo as most people are getting 4 doors.

When I pull the trigger I'm definitely hitting you up for more info because I will be doing an SCS F5 / 315 build + Kings + Total Chaos for sure right when I get it.

I got the F5s installed the day after delivery. I am very happy.

Hey would you mind telling me which backspace size your F5's are? 3.5 or 4.5?

I really appreciate you. Good luck finding that access cab/color combo. I know it’s not easy. Also, you know I support your plans. I can’t wait to see photos of your build.

Thanks! I'm going after a stance similar to yours, I'm still running stock suspension with 16x8 4.5 BS. I see you have the Fox 2.5s w/dakars. Not sure I would need such a setup, if you didnt go Fox what would you recommend for a more modest setup? I'm thinking OME or bilsteins w/dakar leafs.

    Anyway good lookin truck!

Loan has gone through and I've got a few trucks saved on my cars.com list as potentials. So let me get this straight. King kit, total chaos UCA, 16x8 4.5BS F5's, 315/75/16 KO2, and a Dakar Medium Pack are what I'm thinking.

Can you guide me with regards to the amount of trimming that is going to be needed or is it just a wait and see type deal? Does the frame have to be notched like the 2nd gens? I suppose I'll need to start digging through the 3rd gen suspension/lift/tire forums but since you have pretty much exactly what I want I figure you're the man to ask.

My last Taco build I went very mild with just Bilstein 5100's / AAL and 265/75/16's but I want to do it right this time with a full blown setup.

Appreciate any tips/advice you may have for me and I'll start reading forums/threads on these topics.

After 2 years of searching, I finally found a softopper. I feel like I scored. Patience paid off.

    That looks SO GOOD.
I’m super stoked on your build.
    I may be bias though.

I added some matte black TRD Off-Road decals. I wasn’t sure I’d leave them on when I first installed them. But, they’ve kinda grown on me quickly. These photos make me like them even more.

I’ve got the dclb version of your truck! I’m in DFW also. I’ve enjoyed reading your build thread.

Sick truck. I'm not a fan of access cab or long bed but yours is clean. Nice colour too

That’s crazy! You aren’t lying. Same trucks.
It’s funny you posted this. I was driving on the Bush yesterday around 3:30 and almost feel like I saw you going the opposite direction.
I thought to myself that I don’t really see many built up infernos around town. What are the odds?!
