going to have to call Maestro tomorrow, need more info which of the 4 main harnesses will not be used as 2 of them, the gray and the white/black on my '20 are able to fit one of the TO3 connector. These 2 connectors are keyed very similar and I can't switch them around on the oem radio port although it can be with the TO3 harness connector

The black connector(speakers) and a "white" connector a are perfect fit on the TO3 harness connectors

installed my oem radio for now but I created another problem as my speaker wires came out of the oem speaker connector. Geez! hopefully i purchase a pin extractor for a repair

Where did you get your stereo? I went through Crutchfield and their customer service is awesome!

With that said, I thought the Maestro was confusing, too. It took me a couple times to get everything right. Of course, I have not done any stereo installs since high school >30 years ago. LOL

i got the hu off of eBay as well as the Mrr2(both not in stock @ Crutchfield) the rest I got from Crutchfield. I did a Crutchfield chat yesterday as to the TO3 harness and was told they'd call me back in a few minutes but no call back which is unusual for them.

this morning I called Maestro and was told I needed to send pictures of the cables into the oem radio/tuner as it's hard to explain over the phone. I'm not well versed as to what the oem connectors are for, less the amount of pins either connector has.

Bringing this thread back from the dead. Again.

Quick question: Do you HAVE to replace the OEM mic or is it optional? I haven't had any issues with the OEM so I don't know if I'd bother replacing it unless necessary.

I think there is some adapter plug out there for using the OEM mic. I am not sure, though. I don't think there was much option for me when I did my install. So, I just ran the mic that came with the stereo up to the OEM location. It was very easy. After removing the OEM mic, it just took a little plastic welding to make the new mic work really well. While I never had much problem with the OEM mic, I hear the new mic performs better.

Great information here and mostly exactly what i'm looking for
Also in the Hudson valley , also red TRD(sport,lb)

    Help!
I had a alpline ilx107 / maestro rr installed in 2018 give or take. I want to upgrade to the kenwood.. looks like you didn't use the GPS that came with the kenwood? I think most of my wiring is already done, as it was integrated to the maestro years ago.. Is this as simple as a flash and swap a few wires? It's hard to figure out what the delta is as all the instructions i've seen don't assume pre-wired harnesses
    what do you think?
