Anyone have any experience with the Kenwood Excelon DDX 793. I am about to replace my head unit in my 2015 tacoma (non-JBL). Before I spend the money I was hoping someone out there has it.

Seems like a decent unit and Excelon products carry a 2yr warranty.

I currently have the ddx773bh installed in my truck...it has similar features to the ddx793. Personally, I am happy with it. Active capable, time alignment, 13 band eq (plenty given the range it adjusts), Bluetooth, dual video input, it's a well featured head unit for the price. 4v pre out x3 is also a nice plus.

If you have been eyeing the unit for a while I would say try to find reasons why it wouldn't satisfy you.

I'm doing a full audio install soon to my 2015 and I maybe changing my headunit. You may want to wait if you are going with Kenwood. Their new line should be coming out soon which is suppose to be better and faster uploads. Just throwing this out.

I'm not sure yet on what model. I'm hoping they soon release to here some reviews on some of the models. I just might have to take a chance on a Kenwood. I'm very happy with my other Kenwood.

I went to go purchase the Kenwood Excelon DDX 793 with the 7 inch screen on Friday but the damn thing is sold out. But that Kenwood seems to be the one.
