Hey guys, I have a 2019 Tacoma, and I am looking to get some better sound out of my stereo system. I went to a local shop and they told me about the Kenwood Excelon component system, as I had mentioned about a set of speakers to go with the subaru Kicker drop in upgrade. So rather than buy speakers and then separate tweeters, he said that this setup would provide a better coverage of audio range since its designed to work together.

    https://www.crutchfield.com/S-g7xgBXeoIZA/p_113XP6903C/Kenwood-Excelon-KFC-XP6903C.html?

Now, I looked on Kenwoods website and it says it fits "04-16" Tacomas. Now we all know the 2nd gen is 05-15. Are the 2nd and 3rd gen speakers the same size? Anyone ran this setup?

Thanks in advance. (Ps, I'm in Canada so any links to where to get audio stuff a bit cheaper would be appreciated)

Easiest way to get an idea is to see if Crutchfield says they fit. Go to their website and select your vehicle, then search the Kenwood speakers.

It's almost always down to what mounting method you use rather than the size of the actual speaker however.
