    Very nice.

I haven't started yet except cutting out beer. I figure it would never work until I stopped my 2 beers per day habit and 6 on Saturday.

I do appreciate hearing everyone's progress.

I don’t drink. So that’s not my reason of being fat :)

    Good luck on your journey

I have 36lb more to go

    It’s all about the commitment.

I had a discussion with one of my customers today who has been doing keto with her husband for about a month longer than I have with my wife.

She is a pretty short woman, only about 5 foot five but she’s lost over 23 pounds.

You would never believe that she’s had five children and is 42 years old. She looks fantastic.

When people have asked me about the particulars of this diet and I mention the no bread, pasta, or potatoes, they freak out and are like: “I could never give up that!”

The truth is, I have no plans of ever really giving up those foods, I just know that in order to maintain my current weight I need to be mindful of my carb intake - that means avoiding those foods for the most part.

It is really not difficult to stick to and the fact that you experience results pretty quickly is very encouraging.

Today I was at 201 and this was after eating like an absolute pig last Friday for my 45th birthday and also not being keto compliant on Saturday and Sunday.

Simply got right back on the wagon Monday morning and sure enough I am maintaining where I personally would like to be.

I can tell you that for me as soon as the weather gets nicer I’m going to concentrate on a fitness program that makes sense for my schedule which will include a lot of biking and hiking.

My personal goal is to not necessarily lose weight but to reduce my overall body fat and gain muscle. I understand that this goal will necessitate some dietary changes that may not be compliant to Keto but I am perfectly OK with that. :D

Keto friendly dinner. Reverse seared tenderloin from freezer to table. 2 hours in the sous vide at 110 then seared on cast iron to a perfect medium rare. Cheesy cauliflower mash on the side. Boiled for a few, into the skillet to dry some then in the pot with some cream cheese, sharp cheddar, butter & whipping cream (not much fat in 'at) with salt/pep/onion/garlic. Salads at lunch so no greens for color even. Tasty!
That's my leftover steak. We had a late lunch

On edit: Kuma the rotty/lab counter guard dog hoping to score some free samples of that beef :D

    Actually it was really good

I did it with 2 lb... and the crust was too thick
So I cut it it in smaller slices than regular pizza

Next time I will do 1lb, and make it thinner

Awesome keto thread!!! I started the keto diet Dec 1 and I was at 278lbs. Today I weighed in at 246.4. Feels good to be losing the weight. I’m staying under 5 net carbs a day. It’s actually been really easy. My goal is to be at 220 by the end of March. Actually started hitting the gym for the first time in a long time. Sleeping much better and the fiancé says I don’t snore nearly as bad as I was before losing the weight. I also quite smoking cigs three months ago. Killin the game!!!!
