After a busy day working on the LSPV delete, I remembered I hadn't eaten much. So this is a 15 oz bone-in ribeye, broiled a perfect medium rare, and a bag of Birdseye riced garlic cauliflower.

Which comes out to approx 2600 cal, apparently, but with my 10k steps reached it is saying I still have 2000 plus available. This seems ridiculous. Also, on completing my daily log it says I will be down 40 pounds in 5 weeks of I continue as this. I dont see that as accurate.

 

Well, I mean, there is taste testing...and I can say there had been a difference I have noticed in a girl's twat during keto.....

 

I’m a lightweight. I’ll catch a buzz about 3-4 in.

 

Only way that would work for me is if I added boiler maker vodka shots.

 

My liquor drinks are rum and diet coke and vodka diet cranberry. Or a ketel one martini

 

My wife has taken to Tito’s vodka and seltzer.

 

This is a great go-to for a snack: Pepperoni slices & cheese. The cheese is just sharp cheddar pre-cut from Giant but I got the pepperoni stick locally and sliced it up myself. I like this so much better than the super thin stuff at the supermarket. the ratio of cheese to pepperoni must be at 50/50 for my taste.

 

Cheese sticks are a go to snack for me. Sharp cheddar and pepper jack being my favorites. Smokehouse almonds go great with sharp cheddar.

 

I just started Keto today. I’ve been logging everything into the Carb Manager app on my phone, and I have a question. How do you guys keep your fat intake high without a ton of protein?

The key is the butter & coconut oils. Great tasty low-carb treat with high fat content.

I'm partial to the chocolate fat bombs. My wife makes a batch usually every other week or so.

 

I am not as near militant as that. I stick with keto basics: eggs, nuts, avocado, meat, cheese, broccoli, cauliflower. I will occasionally have some dark chocolate

 

Me neither. I just stick to the general guidelines. Been quite successful that way too.

 

Yes down 11 lbs , just started a few weeks ago and I do a little cheating here and there.

 

I need to make some of these to curb my sweet tooth. I have plenty of awesome savory snacks, but all of the sweet stuff in the house is pretty much 100% carbs.

 

Completely understand. These suckers really fit the bill for that.

 

Maybe I’m just putting too much thought into it. I will just keep doing what I’m doing for now and see what the results are and adjust if necessary.
