I am down 50+ went from 265 to 212ish. I quit weighing myself as I work out 5 days a week. I am shrinking fat and gaining muscle so the scale does not help me.

My wife and I have been on it for about 3 1/2 weeks. I’m down 10 lbs exactly as of this morning. I feel much better than I have in years. I’ve always had stomach issues and haven’t had any since cutting the carbs and sugars. Not sure which one was the issue, but if I had to guess, it was probably the carbs. Have a checkup coming up in about two weeks, so we’ll see how my numbers look.

My dad had high cholesterol. His dr friend prescribed some drug and told him that would take care of it. My dad googled the side effects and found out that if he took that drug it would mess up his liver and kidneys. He cut out carbs (mostly, not 100% keto, but reduced his carbs by like 80%), kept eating fatty foods (natural fat, not that vegetable oil crap) and a few months later his cholesterol was amazing. I had trouble with my bowels. Idk if it was IBS or what, but as soon as I started keto they were much much better. I havent lost anymore weight than the first 20lbs, bu I did lose like 3 belt sizes.

Yesterday I had unbreaded chicken wings with blue cheese for lunch, a small salad, had a total of 6 michelob ultras then a low carb dinner and still lost weight.

    I love this diet.

It's one of those things that take a little getting used to, but after that you love it.

I've had good success with my variation of the Dirty, Lazy Keto diet. (Google it) I stick to 2 meals a day, target is less than 50 grams of carbs a day, and less than 1500 calories a day. Lost 70 # in 10 months. Still got about 20 # to reach my goal. It's slow going now. But I'm not worried . I'll get there.

Blood lab results, and blood pressure are damned near perfect now. And I feel so much better. ✔

Still holding steady around 205. Been cheating tho.

Fun fact for beer drinkers: Michelob Ultra Gold is only 2.5 carbs.

Not my preference but it’s not bad...

That's good to know. I've not had a beer in over 10 months. And I use to drink a LOT of beer. I've told myself that once I reach my goal I was going to allow myself an occasional beer. I'll keep the Michelob Ultra Gold in mind.

Still hanging at 205 - checked again this morning. I’ve gotten into a cycle of staying very low-carb during the week and eating normally on weekends. I biked every day of the past holiday weekend. I think I’m going to dig in and go full Keto again and see if I can drop down to 195.
I’d really like to hit that and see if I can maintain it for the Summer.
