How do I delicately say... the keto diet has changed our internal functioning. I firmly believe that the gases created by keto are far less than a carb-filled diet. Carbs are the culprit, not the cabbage. Theres other similar 'perks' but Im not sure a public forum is the place for discussion :anonymous:

100% agree. The body is actually using the food you eat as energy instead of it going right through you.

I've used the Birch Benders and as a substitute that can be had on keto, I'll take it! I like Lakanto 'syrup' on them.

They are a bit more easy to break than regular pancakes but still a tastey alternative

A weekend of travel and still eating healthy!

daily breakfast was eggs with either ham or bacon. Sometimes there was leftover veggies to toss in.
Chicken fried (cauli) rice. It was fantastic!!

bastardized Philly cheesesteak (ground beef, onion, pepper, provolone)

I need to get back on the wagon. :(

zero inspiration right now with all the bullshit going on.

So I made the decision to get back on the keto wagon. This is the end of day two and I went shopping for some of my favorite keto snacks today. Yesterday morning I hit the scale sans clothing and was 220.9 which is +20 pounds more than where I got to when following this previously.

    Time to make a change!

No more craft beer & pizza for me. :pout:

I gave up the craft beer early 2019, and haven’t gone back. It was very hard for sure. But on the bright side, check out the carb content of whisky

I’ve plateaued and can’t get past this next and final 5#... been stuck at this same weight for about six weeks...

woot!!! Dig it man! We’ve got a big backpacking trip coming up and while normal hiking food is high cards... we’re sticking to low carb and going to make it work. Grand Canyon Rim to Rim to Rim. Departing Wednesday!

Made it back to 215 as of this morning. Even though it's getting colder I really need to up my activity. Been very sedate lately. Back in the early months of Covid I would walk 3+ miles a day but I've gotten away from the daily hikes.
Diet alone is not enough for me to get where I want to be, I need to get in the exercise too.
