totally. I have only tried to make fat head once. Hated the work that goes into it

 

It's too much cheese for me, and I love cheese.

 

Been back on the wagon now for about 3 weeks. Already seeing and feeling a difference.

Not doing daily weigh ins like the first time, only weekly.

The hardest part this time around is my wife, she’s not doing it and is constantly offering me non-compliant things to eat.

Erythritol is in many many "keto" sweet products.

 

This guy has a very easy protocol for keto on a budget for people who need to lose a lot of weight. Its true keto at 90/10 fat/protein (no carbs), but he really pushes salt for the electrolytes.

i saw that too. Thankfully low carb has weaned us off most of the sweets. It’s a treat now and then, not routine, for us.

 

I make a pizza in a large tart plate. Ground sausage, pressed into the bottom, cook until almost done. Add sauce, cheese, toppings, bake.

 

Counting calories hasn't been working for the last few weeks so I'm on day 2 of starting up keto again.

The carb flu is in full effect.

 

This time of year is cheating season. Love it hate it. Stay active!!

 

Started keto back up in earnest after Easter this past year. I had ballooned up to 254.5 and was thoroughly disgusted with myself. Stuck to keto for about 6 weeks to kickstart the weight loss then transitioned to primarily intermittent fasting and maintaining a caloric deficit. I've dropped to 214.5 since

Down about 55lbs 235 -> 180, but I DID kinda get back up to around 185 in the past couple weeks. End goal is 155-160. Kinda same, IF worked for me, I was kinda doing accidental IF. Get home, do stuff with the dog, yard work, truck maintenance, whatever it may be, shower, suddenly it's 8:30...no desire to cook at that point. Cold weather sucks. Now I get home and I don't do all that stuff, so I have time to cook dinner again...

I use Cronometer, the net calorie tool is pretty cool, you can see where it became "it's too cold for this shit" plus a few holidays/etc thrown in there.

I'm doing intermittent fasting along with the keto, too. Essentially I'm just skipping breakfast and don't eat after 8:30pm for a 16:8 fast.

 

The headache now is worse than last night but I haven't taken anything yet so it can't be all that bad.

 

Picked up a loaf of this tonight at Aldi.



It's not the best tasting bread around but as a delivery device to put chicken and cheese in my mouth, it does the job. Zero net carbs doesn't hurt, either.
