Also just noticed that, they’re really light in comparison to some other a/t tires out there

Pretty much my exact experience with them. They were quiet and comfortable on road and surprised me and anyone I went wheeling with offroad. That being said, at 20k miles they were down to 4/32 to 5/32. I would say they are worth wearing out if you have other mods/purchases in mind.

    None... sigh
I put over 60K on the set on my 2016, and all in all not a bad tire at all. Like some have said, and with any tire, they have their ups and downs but for a stock tire they're fine.

No complains at all. Really comfortable for daily driving around town and highway. Never had traction issues in snow. Haven't tested them in any type of major off-road conditions, only dirt roads with some puddles, so cant comment on that.

Seems like I might get another set when the time comes. Of course I’ll have to see for myself how they hold up in a lot of conditions, especially when winter comes. I appreciate all the feedback guys. I know they aren’t KO2’s or Duratracs but I’m not looking for something so heavy and aggressive. It seems like these might be a winner

I thought they were a very reasonable "all-rounder" tire and I had a much harder time getting them stuck than I had expected to have. They were also admirably quiet.

It's worth noting that if you buy a new set, they should last longer than the OEM ones, because the OEMs actually come with less tread than the ones you can buy - part of why they're so light.

Not bad tires. I never had any major issues w/ them. I'm hard on tires driving in the mountains a lot with a load so I rarely see 1/2 the tread life out of any set of tires the way I tend to heat them up on switchbacks :)

Never got stuck w/ them and they handles decent on road and were quiet. I was actually reluctant to use anything else b/c they were relatively good tires but eventually settled on a really solid replacement in the Cooper AT3 4S line. Just as quiet, handles even better, better on wet pavement, gravel and dirt (and allegedly very good snow / winter tire) and have a more aggressive look.

I wanted to hate them, so it would give me an excuse to buy new ones. I usually go BFG KO's. But through the winter, they were solid. Albeit we had a mild winter with not a lot of snow. They've been solid on-road with minimal road noise and impressive MPG's. They lack the bite of a true A/T tire, but that's not surprising.

Overall, for what I do, I am thinking I will get another set once these wear out. There are so many new takeoff wheelsets on CL going for pretty cheap, as people just swap them out from the getgo. Then I'd mount some KM3's on my rims for off-road ventures.

I thought they performed reasonably well for my light use of them, but sold them with 6000 miles on 'em and snagged some Michelin Defender M/S. They are a bit quieter, give me a mileage bump and will probably last 70,000 miles. Later after I retire and head for some big time adventure, I'll get another set of wheels and some KO2's most likely to use for off road type trips.

If you stay on the road then perfect but if you drive on sand or rocks absolutely no. 5k miles drove a few miles on fire road 1 time and had chunks the sizes of dime missing everywhere. Replaced them with KO2 when I got home from that trip.

I run whatever the number in the door is. Forget what the cold number is I think it’s like 33. This time of the year they are around 34-35 psi and the winter around 32.

Not sure the amount of snow other people here are driving through but I live near buffalo and we get around 90” average a year. Obviously the truck gets around because of 4 wheel drive but my old 1st gen Tacoma with KO’s was way more impressive. I’ve had a few issues with mine in a lot less snow. Also had this thing slide around a little be on some wet roads. And turning in blacktop they can be very noisy. Just seems like a crappy compound in my opinion. The wear seems a little concerning but my last set of Goodyear’s got about the same life. These tires are a lot better than the Goodyear SRA’s that came in my F150 FX4. Those used to get flat spots from just sitting overnight and rode like crap. These atleast ride smooth and have a lot better and more off-road looking tread pattern. For an OEM tire they are reasonable. But no way would I say they are just as good as some KO(2)’s, wildpeaks, duratracs, or any other reputable tire.

These are a street tire, don't let the "Kevlar" writing fool you. Sorry I came from jeeps to the taco. These are the same as the sra that come stock in a wrangler. Minus the "Kevlar". For road driving they are really smooth. Off road they are terrible. But I ran 315/70/17 cooper stt pro on my rig. 10 ply tire. Great tire. I like grip. I went with falken wildpeak for the taco. Way better tire on and off road. Toyota uses what's on them cause they're cheap and can get good mpg with them.

Good to see you like the wildpeaks. I plan to do the same and go 265/75 16 LT

I did an 1200kM (800mile) off-road trip with mine into some very remote areas while I still had them. Lots of chunky blast-rock/boulder roads, sand dunes, a couple river crossings along the way, and some mud. No problems with the Goodyears. Maybe yours were from a bad batch? Who knows? You sure don’t see many posts on here with actual photos of a failed Goodyear tire, just a lot of hearsay. For what they are (not a dedicated mud tire etc) they are good performers. Solid choice by Toyota for an OEM tire. Expensive too if you look at the prices they charge for them aftermarket.

Not bad tires. Did fine on the road and ok off. Mud was definitely not their strong suit. I didn’t try them in snow.

At 25k they have 5/32 left. Some chunks missing from the tread and a hole that was easily plugged.

They were not worth replacing prematurely, but I would not buy them again either.

I replaced mine before I hit 3k. I had a sidewall failure on one and a slow leak on another. I've had these tires before and two of them had a slow leak.

Ive been on Michelin MS2 (now Defender) for a decade. I recently test drove a 2018 TRD OR with the good year tires and the first thing I noticed was how loud the tires were and how they rode kind of bumpy. Felt kinda like a small vibration but I know it was the tires.

That said-- everything is relative. I'm not commenting on the quality of the good years or even offering an opinion. Not even in the least. That was simply my impression in comparison to the Michelin's that I'm used to. I've never driven on AT's before. And after driving on the good years, I'll be sticking to the Miches, since 95% of my miles are on the hiway. The 5% I'm off road (pastures, cornfields, low maintenance roads, but no mud) the Miches work just fine.
