Fyi a 10mm spacer will equate to almost 3/4" of lift because of the geometry of the suspension, so keep that in mind. A true 3/4" spacer would give almost 1.5" of lift..

I have 2004 very similar to this truck. I'm running 265 Bridgestones and like them but would like to know how you like the 285s?

Thank you for that information! Looks like a 10mm spacer will work for me.

I love the 285's! Nice aggressive good size tire. The only complaint I would have with them is the highway, it can be a little doggy going uphill but nothing major. Also it's not to bumpy. I think I picked out the perfect recipe with the lift and tires being a daily driver.

But 265's are a nice tire too, wear those out and give the 285's a shot. I think you will like them!

Not sure , it came with my lift when I ordered it from Wheeler's. I got OME 881's with longer top studs already mounted and the poly spacer for the driver's side was included. I believe they said it was 1/4" but yields 3/4" when installed. No lean! You could ask Dan @ Wheelers.

btw the "trim packer" is the little metal ring that goes on before the spring on the driver's side strut assembly (shock/spring/top plate) the 10mm spacer is the "lift enhancer" with the kit and will generally get you a little over 1/2" of extra lift mystik what you are showing is the top plate and spring isolator

just so there is no confusion

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Today I installed a weathertech stone/bug guard. I wasn't to sure if I was gonna like it or not but it's starting to grow on me. Should help a little on the highway commute.

What did you use for the grill? Derp or paint? Looks good. One of the things I still want to do to mine.

Did you ever get the taco-lean sorted? I have aftermarket rear springs and have never had an issue with the lean, maybe the AAL added to the factory tired leaves is what induces that? How many miles?

Thanks! I dipped the grill, much better than chrome! I still haven't done anything yet with the lean, and ya possibly the add a leaf effected the used springs. I wanna get it sorted out, but the front driver side is noticeable too! I have 112000 miles on it.

So I ordered a 1/4" top plate spacer for the Lean on the truck, looking forward to leveling this truck out....finally. Need to bring it to a shop soon to check out some noise going on in the front, everything seems tight but cant seem to pinpoint a rattling noise every time I go over bumps.

Soon as I get that situated I think it's time to rip off the front bumper and start to design a new steel one. Should be interesting with the outcome. Time to get the cardboard ready!
