The 285's look awesome, can't wait till mine come in. Do you have any photos from before you took off the wheel spacers?

The spacer is on the truck finally. Noticed some difference in appearance. Just gotta remeasure to see the outcome of it.

Within the next couple weeks custom bumper will get started. Can't wait

Sub'd! Gotta love the double cabs! If you're looking for some armor, might I suggest Relentless Fabrication. The work they put out is flawless, and it not only protect your rig, it'll looks stellar. Check my build out if you're interested in seeing what it would look like. ;)

Your truck looks great!! And that bumper looks really good! I think relentless fab does great work, I really like shrockworks products too. But for spending over a grand for these, I could buy materials for under a couple hundred bucks and give it a shot for something new. I hope it comes out well but we'll see what the experience will be like once the stock bumper is off! Lol.

I'll be updating this thread with pictures of the process. Should be interesting! :D

Spending 2k on bumpers is a bit much. Relentless offers a DIY kit if you'd want to spend about half price a fully built one. It's what I did since I didn't have the money at the time to get fully built bumpers. I spend a little over a grand for the bumpers and something like $250 for everything to build my swingout. I'll be interested to see how your build goes though!

My brand new 2016 4Runner TE! So I been going back and forth on getting rid of my Tacoma since January for a brand new Tacoma. Since then i always convinced myself to turn away and keep my 03 because I simply knew my older truck was better than the new ones.

BUT i always had an urge for the 4Runner and ended up test driving one for the hell of it and instantly fell in love with it! My wife also really liked it too which was a great sign lol.

So, sad to say I traded in my truck with almost 120,000 miles and they gave me $10,000 for it. I didn't think twice and got myself a pretty good deal on this one and all I can really say is I'm happy with the decision. This new truck is awesome!!

My goal was to keep the truck and get the runner but the funds wouldn't allow it so I got rid the taco. I will greatly miss that truck!
