Here's my build page of my 2012 Tacoma Sport. It's not really my 2nd build because I didn't do anything to my first. Bought this one used in December of 2018. I don't know how many people will actually read this thread but I'm making it more for myself as I want to document the progression the truck goes through in the next few years. Hopefully it's a full built beast eventually.

Pic of her when I first got her. Totally stock other than TRD exhaust (love this exhaust) and the OEM Roof racks.

Some random background information. Prior to this truck, I had an 06 Double cab Prerunner. That's the truck that got me into Toyota's. I absolutely loved that truck, and got me more into offroading. I soon realized that 2WD was not going to cut it and started saving up for a 4wd. (Originally wanted a 4WD but settled on a 2WD, BIG MISTAKE)[IMG]

I was actively searching for a 4WD Tacoma and had my funds saved up a while later, when life threw me a curveball. A SICK 4runner Trail came up, right in my price range. It looked pristine, mileage was ideal and I gave up my love for Tacomas right there. I bought it.

When I bought it, it already had a 3 inch lift. I bought some 285's for it, and it was pretty ready to go. A lifted 4runner with lockers gave me a lot of confidence and I drove this thing everywhere! From beaches to mountains (Peacock flats pictured above), the 4runner was super capable. Rear locker and A-trac are gifts from toyota. I didn't really use Crawl Control because I never did get stuck in the sand, but I tested it just for the hell of it and I thought it worked pretty good. Didn't really mod it, put a borla exhaust, tint and some other stuff but pretty much left it.
    Couple more 4runner pics.

Back to what's really important, the Tacoma.
Soon after purchasing it, I was super lucky as a relative of mine had an extra Lift kit sitting they didn't need. Its a front 3 Inch spacer and rear 1 Inch block. I am super not mechanically inclined but I thought I'd give the install a shot. After watching a bunch of youtube videos and reading countless threads I felt confident enough to do it.
    Finished Product.

In the picture I'm running 255/75r17 (32s) KM1's. I'm very happy with how it came out, except that the back end needs a little more lift. I'm sitting with a little reverse rake. I plan to swap out the block for an AAL pack soon.

I got super lucky and found a set of 4runner trail wheels on craigslist for a good price. Jumped on those and installed it the same day. This is how she sits currently. Hopefully within the next month, I'm going to install Wheelers offroad AAL pack, tint, tool box, racks and some other small stuff. Genuinely happy with the way it is right now though.

Update: Demello Front, Deaver u401 Stage I, 5100 front with 887's, 5125 rear, ray10 17x8.5, G003's in 285s, Dobinson snorkel, front and rear Wheelers bumps, some other stuff. Genuinely happy with this setup so far, just picked up a camper, getting it painted.
Hopefully sometime this year, King fr/rr w/ archive shock relocation, HH, cross tube, u bolt flip. Maybe even a rear locker.
