Is it just me or does anyone else have an issue with the buttons being TOO flush? Seems about every time I put my key in my pocket one of the buttons gets pressed - very irritating. The separate FOB on my 2008 had the buttons recessed and I NEVER had this issue.
    TIA.

Yeah... kind of a pain. I'm also always pressing lock when I want to unlock and vice versa. The buttons are too close together for my fat fingers.
    I ordered a switch-blade fob. I'm hoping it's better.

What FOBs are those? I was referring to the buttons on the actual KEY.

I've bent over to pick up my dogs or tools and set off the sissy alarm more times than I'd care to admit.

You can turn that off with the Carista app.

Not one single problem with mine. You could pop the key apart and shave down the buttons. There is some extra thickness.

From killing the panic alarm or shaving the buttons?

I've accidentally set off the panic in other cars by hitting the wrong button. Given the way that car alarms are generally ignored (the ignition immobilizer is much more effective IMHO), I doubt anyone would pay attention to some one using the panic alarm. Screaming or using a whistle would seem more useful? I could be wrong?

The symbols are made from two different colors of plastic, so they should survive some shaving? You can see the second color on the bottom of the unlock (left) button in my pic.

The key is inside your fob. He has H start not push to start.

that’s why I asked what model ? Do only SRs come with “turn to start” not “push to start” I was just curious if you can get that option in any other model..limited,sport,OR,PRO?
And I know where my key is. attached and inside are different. Just saying haha

I'm not sure about 2018s, but all MTs get a physical key. One of the packages, Tech or Prem, added it to the ATs.

See a real answer .. and that’s odd from a tech or Prem package in AT , I’d consider that a downgrade, that’s just me..
