    Uh, I assume so lol.

Try it and find out for me so I don't have to google it lol.

    Report back...

Well Google says, " To reactivate the fob, just press one of the buttons.:"

Does it pulsate and emit a low frequency hum late at night? B'Cuz, you know...aliens.

Have you observed your child communicating with it telepathically?

    Aliens.

Is your wife missing some tampons? Yeah, that's messed up, but its got nothing to do with this...

Both fobs at the same time or have you been rotating them?
What else do you carry in the same pocket as the fob? Maybe something in your pocket keeps hitting one of the buttons.
I moved in my recliner the other night and set off the Panic alarm. Same thing one day when the dog jumped up on me.
    I'd try 2 things:
    - Keep the fob in a different pocket with NOTHING else,
    or
    - Slip the fob into a Faraday pouch when you're not in the truck,
    or
    - Don't use cheap batteries.
I went several years with the first batteries in my '06 fob, and so far 7 months with the '21 fob.

Sounds like counterfeit batteries. Try you local hardware or jewelry store.

Give me keys or give me death - when I discovered models > SR5 all had Key Fobs it was game over.

Use a good name brand battery.
One more thing. Do you have another vehicle that uses a remote, and do you carry both remotes in the same pocket? I read somewhere, some time ago, that if you have two different remotes in the same pocket that they constantly try to communicate and will run their batteries down prematurely. I don't know if that is true or not.

Are they from the same package of batteries? Maybe you got a bad batch.

Don't know about hum - tinitis is so loud I can't hear that. Maybe it's not tinitis ... maybe it's the keyfobs! It is possible the COVID vaccine is causing issues with the RFID chips cross-talking.

Nothing else in that pocket, but it's on the side my EDC is on but not that far forward. Any particular brand battery to try? I have just been using the bulk-cheap ones from Sam's club - same battery as my kids use in their calculators.

That could explain it - I keep all of my car keys in one drawer; my wife keeps all hers in her purse together, too.
