I searched and found info for the 2nd Gen, but not for the 3rd Gen... I'm willing to admit I suck at searching, so apologies in advance if needed.

In vehicle terms, I searched for and found an access cab Tacoma (2022 SR) that is as stripped down from the factory as possible. The only option is the rear seat seat delete package (BZ). My wife's vehicle has enough complexity to keep us balanced in this world (Lexus RX 500H F Sport Performance - long enough model name?).

I know anything is possible with enough time & money. My question is how expensive would it be (in time & parts) to add a remote entry key fob. I'm assuming there is an immobilizer chip in the base model's key. Does that complicate matters?

And of course if it is possible, a link to where I'd find part numbers, etc., would be most appreciated.
