Key fob gone bad?

    So, one of my 2 factory key fobs will not unlock or lock the truck anymore. (2020 TRD Sport). I changed the battery and still no good. The second one works fine, so I don't think it's the truck. Suggestions appreciated.

    Make sure the good fob is not near by,
    then try starting the engine with the bad fob next to the start buttom.

    Perhaps I described the key in error. There is no "start" button in the truck. Just a typical keyed ignition.

    My previous work van had that problem. The fob had been dropped so many times the battery solder tabs broke within it, and needed to be resoldered or pinched to work
