I had the same thing happen to me on my Sport with PTS, after constant trial and error, I found that when my rear dash cam was plugged in to the main unit up front, the key fob would work intermittently. When I pull out the plug to the rear cam, it would work fine. I tried the RF choke, but didnt work. I have a Blacksys CH200 for reference. My wifes NX has the same push to start but the older model Blacksys CH100B dash cam system in hers, but her remote works all the time.

In your tag, you note you upgraded to GT3 LED headlight bulbs. That may be the issue also. Any type of LED bulbs regardless where they are installed on the truck can be a possible issue. Try putting the stock halogens back in to see if it makes a difference.

Edit: it could also be when the headlights are on during the 30sec after closing the door, the fob doesnt work, then when the headlights shut off, your fob then works...Just a thought. But still related to LED Headlights.

I have the MESO dome and haven't had any issues with it. There are a lot of people that have it, so I'm sure it would be known by now if it could cause this.

I connected with Headlight Revolution and they are sending out a new light with a different connector. I hope that it resolves the issue.

Is that just the light bulbs or do you mean the OEM bed lights?

I'm running MESO dome and map lights.... no issues that I'm aware of.

Thanks a lot for the post man! I have the headlight revolution dome light as well so that must be my problem. That's unfortunate because I really like the light output from it. Looks like I'll be putting the stock light back in for now and looking for a good replacement LED.
